Sony Xperia 1 review

Sony has completely revamped its Xperia series yet again, and this year the common denominator is the cinematic screen. Every new Xperia smartphone gets a 21:9 panel for the most immersive viewing experience, but the Xperia 1 is special. It is the Xperia Premium reborn, with a large 6.5" OLED 4K HDR display and today we'll get to know it better.

Xperia 1 is a beast of a phone! The only one in the world with an oled 4k hdr triluminos display. Try saying that fast!
It rocks two powerful stereo speakers and with enough separation between them for a much better experience than s10 and p30 pro for example.
Watching a movie on this thing is an experience of it's own really. Forget all the notched and hole screens we are talking business here!

If you are after movie experiences like no other, this is the phone for you! There is simply nothing better atm!
It's a Sony phone after all, and Sony means business.

Yes, what I tell are the sobering facts about a crappy phone that Sony has released once again. This is the sole reason why Xperia 1 is widely ignored right now. I completely agree with it. But this phone's camera is a real shame, a disaster. Apart from that as well as the absence of wireless charger, average battery life, missing headphone jack (not a big deal for me), weird "remote control" like shape and unjustified high price tag, it is a goooood phone :).

See no single reason to buy a Xperia phone when are so many better options around. Yes, Sony fans like you won't like to accept the fact that the Sony Mobile are on the loosing side. And they always were loosers on smartphone market because Samsung, Apple and others always did a better job. Just suck it up and keep on buying Sony :). Cheers

                                      2.5K is not Quad HD?
                                      Samsung's displays for the past couple years are not QHD+ or also known as 3K resolution?
                                      Sony's displays for years have not been scientifically measured to still have a high gamma and blue tint?
                                      Samsung hasn't been among the top in color accuracy by lab tests?
                                      A phone having a 4K display automatically makes it better than everything?
