The Xperia, throughout my life using Sony, I have realized that the durability of these phones and the quality plus the user experience overshadow any negative, as the technology usually fails, and of course this one that one or another who risked buying a brand difefrente unfortunately failed a phone sony.
Year after year we see Sony perfecting their phones, Sony does much with little, is what a lot do not understand.
Let's say right now I have the Xperia Xz3 Only with 4 GB of ram, but at the time of running the system, still maintains elegance of use, this OLED screen, plus exceptional performance in games even with resolutions 2k and high graphics.
Imagine now, these phones with 6GB of ram, and screen 4k and 2k respectively.

800 Euros! Wow I am so glad there are manufacturers like Xaiomi who give us phones that are 95% of the big boys but at 1/3rd the cost. I mean seriously this phone has no standout feature except the price which really stands out!

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2019Xperia 5 looks cheap and oldHard to understand why you can not make more description to clarify what are you talking about the cheap and old you say, by just leaving some critics is so rude. I have point out the design from Huawei and Samsung, if you can't accept my description just explain why you don't agree with me. Personally I love simplicity (Japanese's Zen) so I those complicated and fancy toys won't attract me because their designer just add in too much elements but can't makes it looks forever well looking, only Zens especially Japanese Zens can keep it nice looking year after year. I am not a designer but these designers (Huawei and Samsung) are far from the best, I am sorry.

Sigh, year after year, Sony keeps making the same dumb mistake: pricing themselves out of the market.
I love this phone but seriously, 800 Euros? If you just fire all your overpaid managers you could probably sell it at 600-700 and actually get volume sales Sony.

The Galaxy S8 has massive curved edge and the corners is much cut out by the curve screen, but Xperia 5 doesn't, Xperia 5 much like adopt a 2.5D screen and the corner curved is very minimal. The S8 even come with a weirdest fingerprint scanner placement. The iPhone X camera module setup looks way pop out and the module is "fatter" and the white dot in between the cameras which make it be an eyesore/contrast in the camera module. IPhone X also adopt the contrast color to pop up the camera module, it is an eyesore and eye catching both together but it Never win my heart because the "eyesore" is there, this (white dot) highlight the camera module but definitely uglier because Japanese's simplicity Zens wouldn't be like that.
Xperia 5 cameras module setup same as Xperia 1 it has much simplicity and gorgeous because it has the same color used for the module frame to make it looks unified and it is such a cherry on the top of the cake for the surface split the tones on different viewing angle. Conclusion, Xperia 5 design is simply gorgeous without a second thought.

Seriously you just cannot call a phone like this a "compact". Only below a 5 incher is a true compact, this is still way too huge. Also disappointed at the lack of a headphone jack. Looks like I'll keep my XZ1 Compact for some more time.
