But if you want evidence look here a long session:

Agasy, 06 Oct 2019Again, Xiaomi marketing strategy is to show the highest val... moreYou don't understand how pixel binning works...

      It's a real 64MP, not interpolated...
By low light condition, it is able to get 4 pixels to make 1...and get more light
As I try the camera yesterday, the différence between 16MP mode and 64MP mode is awesome.

Here are very tiny parts of 2 pictures I grow to the same size...

      On the left 16Mp
      On the right 64MP
      Enjoy the détails!
The sky was gray, no sun...I expect even better results with good weather conditions

Even if I had to say wrongly (because the Helio g90T is better than the SD 730G) that the Helio g90T is very bad compared to the SD 730G, the simple fact that it is the subject of discussions on the site of gsmarena for which is its comparison with Qualcomm's best mid-range, shows that Mediatek has made a processor powerful enough to seriously challenge the best of Snapdragon's 7xx series; and that seems to bother the Snapdragon Pros. It looks like it puts them in a trance, the fact that Mediatek hustles Qualcomm on this mid-range segment with the Helio g90T.

But, I'm sorry guys, things are changing and Mediatek is evolving: I'm waiting to see what the Qualcomm Pros will do when the Helio M8 is etched on 8 nano meters (8 nm) and based on the super powerful A77 Cortex, and equipped with a chip Modem 5G, will be born next year ... I already realize the mood on the page comments in this period: It will explode in all directions with the arguments from Mars and Jupiter, to defend the 'indefensible [lmao].

Agasy, 06 Oct 2019Again, Xiaomi marketing strategy is to show the highest val... moreApparently you do not even know what you are talking about: there is a very big difference between an "interpolation" and the "pixel binning" the two are so different that, bringing them closer is not at all not knowing what you talk.

In an interpolation, it is the software that artificially adds virtual pixels from a distance and color difference calculation algorithm, of ambient pixels around each precise zone in the image to be displayed. it therefore means that we never interpolate a larger display definition for a smaller definition (it's always the opposite, and it's even a property of interpolation).
On the other hand, the "pixel binning" is done with real and physical photosites which are physically installed on the sensor, and since, several photosites are merged (by several groups) mechanically to form a single photosite (each group for its part) by a "Quad bayer pixel binning" technology that cleanly supports this specific sensor. Thus, "pixel binning" implies the conversion of a larger display definition for a smaller or smaller display definition.

So, the photo sensor of the Redmi Note 8 Pro has physically 64 million photosites (pixels) or 64 MP. Since the RN8 PRO sensor physically contains 64 megapixels, and its Processor (Helio g90T) supports 64 million pixels, the RN8 Pro physically and physically captures 64 MP photos. In conclusion you are doing gratuitous denigration against the RN8 Pro, yet the GSMarena test is very clear on it.

Probably best way to find out is experience. Alternatively seeing lot of stuff on youtube (I haven't).

Second issue is clear information if this gets any Android update or not.

r31ya, 06 Oct 2019We got benchmark test result and people still saying these ... moreMany benchmark in youtube was saying that the G90T beat the 730 and 730G, apparently before get throttle and just beat the 712, which is telling us that the chip isn't efficient.

Agasy, 06 Oct 2019Again, Xiaomi marketing strategy is to show the highest val... moreI think you're not at all realistic: Basically, you can not compare a mid-range smartphone with a high-end smartphone! What I'm saying is that while the Redmi Note 8 Pro can be praised for its overall performance, it does not mean that all of a sudden it becomes the best smartphone in every aspect of a smartphone. So even if there are aspects where it can be judged better than some high-end, it is rather with its direct competitors of the range that it must be compared a priori. So in this sense I want to ask: which phone of the same range as this Redmi Note 8 Pro is better than him in photo, according to you ??? And why ???

A Soc with a 4 cores dedicated to maximum performance with a hyperengine boost integrated, only means one thing: Processor can be overclocked for a limited time when is passing a benchmark test, so, the obvious result is, a higher score obtained during this limited time the CPU and GPU were overpowered. As you well said, 12 NM isnt a clear solution for long time Boosting the cpu, and could take adverse consequences like, overheating...

Again, Xiaomi marketing strategy is to show the highest value in camera res, the highest, value in processor benchmark numbers, the highest ram, the highest....Nothing cuz it's not about the highest value you can buy and the cheapest price you can get. Numbers are only numbers, for example, 64 mpx samsung sensor, its the same photo trick like note 7 48 mpx sensor, with a obvious difference, this new release, is 64 and, of course, more numbers (more sensors). Now, is not real a 64 mpx sensor, its a 16 mpx sensor with 4 in 1 pixel interpolated. In other words, interpolatied pixel image can change its size in pixels or resolution, that is, digitize the information that the sensor cannot obtain on its own (convert a 4x4 pixel mesh to 6x6 for example), so that, as a general rule, and whenever interpolated upwards, it is to lose image quality, to unless good software is used to achieve a good extension. No professional photographer recommends using an interpolation of pixels in large magnifications, because the result obtained in most situations is, at least, dirty and distorted.

I think ours is band 5 and 8, and they maybe just by chance weaker on that frequency bands.

I also didn't said about speed, it's network strenght on bad reception area. Our lte network is trash, barely pass 5Mbps on busy hour no matter what we use (any brand of phone, usb modem, wifi modem, and that one with small parabola receiver).

Making it worse, out of 6 big cellular player, only one got full signal in my neigborhood, and one other at 2-3 bar. So, network strenght is important factor, and OUR experience show that phone with mtk is simply got weaker reception in OUR district. Do note MTK devices still got full signal outside / on top of building

From the very beginning the G90T is speculated to be between SD712 and SD730, performance wise. So far its pretty accurate.
