Motorola is a disgrace in making phones. They can't make a superb phone. They are always producing substandard phones. When will you people produce a super megaphone that will shake the world?

Great audio performance, the dac is probably from cirrus logic. Maybe LG/Samsung got a rival? Redmi K20 with WCD9375 is crying in the corner.

What the hell is wrong with Motorola??? The greatest phone they ever made was my phone, the Moto X Pure Edition... After that everything is cheap crap!! You're supposed to build onward and upward from a great phone...not back peddle and decide to be a mediocre smartphone company. What a shame!!

Actually the battery life is poor, my old Moto G5S had a 3000mah battery and lasted by your own test 6 hours less.

Great audio smartphone, but it's behind the competition in other aspects. It will be interesting choice after discounts.

G line up was promising till Moto G3. But once everything was in Lenovo's hand, things started getting worst.
Though some of Motorola is still in products, software updates are big issue ( barring few premium phones).
This was one of the reasons why I stopped buying Motorola. My last was Moto G3.
Lenovo has made a mess out of decent products. Under Google it had simple singe product for each segment - E,G and X. It was enough and it worked wonders.
And today we see 3 versions in each of the line up - vanilla,Plus and play. They killed X line and added Z to the family. In 3 years they killed Z too. Now they have zoom, action and one line up.
By adding new and sub line ups, they are not getting variety to the customers, instead they are confusing the customers. And confused customers are turning away from Motorola.
It would be so simple if they just keep - E,G and X/Z and go with Android One program. It would get them back as preferred brand. They won't even need to sell anymore Lenovo phones.
Even today I use my Moto G3 with custom Android 10 ROM. And it works flawlessly.
Wish Motorola decision makers read this comment.

just hate it like how they come so close to perfecting it but in the end missing out on display or battery or old chipset or poor design, bad audio quality, no memory slot, hybrid slot, not pure android, ridiculous pricing, ugly names & notches grrrrr.... get it on already.
This is in general speaking not about this phone though.

Considering this is the plus version of their 2020 midranger, aren't 4GB of RAM too little?

Is a downgrade from the previous model if we put it against competitors. Weaker SoC, worse cameras without OIS that make worse photos about all at night, useless secondary cameras and still old fingerprint sensor and display while asking premium prices.
Is not about how you watch the result in the screen is about the real images when you want to use them as background screen, print them in big formats, etc. You can literally watch the noise in every area like a mask of the whole photos even in day light. Can't match cheaper competitors. The UI is something personal that can like or don't like you depending the brand. But that can't justify an inferior hardware with poor results. And the stabilization is only available in 1080p at 30fps on either camera, you can't even choose the resolution you prefer and ends trembling if you don't have enough stability in your hands.
They could have removed useless sensors and adding a better main one with that money saved together with a better hardware.
