A 71. .Always on . Nope this only extends the screen staying on by about 10 sec. The phone screen always goes to sleep ..the only thing that prevents the phone screen from sleep is to tap the screen about every
20 seconds.. and yes 4 of us have the A71 and have tried everything suggested. The last phone I had that would do whatever you wanted was a Note 3 .

having used the phone for more than 1 year, i can say the phone response is quite slow, especially on the fingerprint recognition. always cannot recognise and says wrong print. 10 times i scan my fingerprint, at least 4 times i need to key in my password, or use the facial recognition.

I have had my Galaxy A71 5G SM-A716U for 4 months now and it has it's ups and downs. Have not experienced any overheating even when running Spotify at work for 8+ hours
with 1 bar of 4g service. Among that and social media my battery life is about 30%. It does get confused when I'm running 4 apps at once and have to restart it.(About 50% of the time) also about 75% of the time first thing in the morning it's confused, like it's still "asleep" and don't want to Cooperate, especially GPS. Overall I like it. Last phone was the A20.

After 9 months of usage, I am writing my experience. The phone gets heated up suddenly and the UI hangs. Need to force restart to get back to normal. After Android 11 update, things have gone from bad to worse. In order to keep it somewhat stable, the machine needs rest after every 18 to 20 hours of usage. Forget about continuous usage for 3 to 4 days on end. The battery quickly and you need to carry a power bank constantly. If the wi fi remains for more than 30 mins, the energy juice comes down to 40 percent from 90 percent. This buy has been a total waste.

Worst phone ever. I had issues with this phone in just a span of a month. Wifi issues, videos log on fb and youtube it took some time before it will play. Charger issues (4th month), Some applications din't work properly upon checking with other phone there's no problem with an app.
I would not recommend this phone

Hi samsung developers, after I update my samsung A71 to android 11 UI 3.1 my gaming experience to my A71 is fucking lag, your update ANDROID 11 UI 3.1 is GARBAGE!

I have an EU model A71. The battery life is great and games run well on high settings. But I'll definitely recommend a case because the back is a bit slippery. It was a hard choice between this and an S10e but I like the bigger screen and under-display fingerprint scanner.

Am glad ve got the Samsung A71. It's a big catch. With a large CPU it doesn't over heat.
