I don't know if either of the model will be available by July in your country. But you should search. Mediatek processors are not supposed to last much longer. You may have two years of software update. Hopefully, Xiaomi is getting concerned. But it's not sure that if you will obviously get. Because Xiaomi used to be skeptical about software update in the past.
You may also wait for Xiaomi Mi A4. For day to day, the phone should be enough. Mi A series is based on Android One programme which means that these phones will get two years of software update and three years of security patch update.

If I buy the phone in July, how many years will the phone last for? I am an average user who uses only social media and calling (no games).
Until which year will I receive updates (including security updates).
I cannot buy POCO or Realme (not available)

Great question: why people still pay for flagship? Especially that for one flagship you can have 4 pcs of good midranger. With a great choice of well priced midrangers, flagships are not an interesting choice anymore. Check how dissapointing is sell of S20 series.

Used for 2 weeks. Bought 4GB/64GB. So far so good however 2 -ve review from me (1) is upon using your RAM decrease to 2.3GB from 4GB. Even haven't download any Apps (2) the cam is average. Not helpful during nightime but perfect during daylight.
The good news they can support up to 256GB SD. I just add on another 64GB makes overall 4GB/128GB. Battery 10/10. A bit complex to transfer file to SD.

If it is able to perform 100%, then why people still pay for flagship?
