It's funny how GSMA still equates diagonal measurement to actual screen size (i.e. display area). This isn't a large phone. It's an incredibly TALL phone, but in terms of screen width it's about on part with a 5.5" 16.9 display. My 5.9" Mate 9 dwarfs the the displays on these 6.7"+ 20:9+ displays.

Strong Competitor for budget flagship of the Year.
Only competition is from Mi 10.
OnePlus 8 is simply rebranded 7t pro with SD865.

- revomal of the 2x camera
- still ufs2.1
- low quality 8K recording (even worse than samsung that is bad already)
- no gorilla 6 on screen
- it wont have android 11 before february 2021 unless a miracle happens

I have the AT&T version of this phone.
My V60 did not come with LG RADIO APP, NEBO for note taking, or WHALE Browser.
Anyone else with a AT&T version, have these apps installed when they purchased the phone? If not, How can I download these??

a true winner. They put in microsd, fm radio, audio jack... unlike that overrated oneplus thingies which keep on leaving out features

Well things aren't that simple and they never had been. Headphone jack is definitely hire to stay along with other kind of wire connections. Removing it from most phones actually gave boost to portable DAC Amp industry all do it whose aimed at boasting BT one, which it did. The results; now you can buy a portable USB DAC Amp which performs better than any ever integrated in the one & without OS limitations for 45$ all do it's not all that convenient it works. Soon you will be able to buy a TWS for under 100$ or earphones BT cable for 35$ which will be able to do full CD quality. So it's not all grim.

Gladly they did not listed lack of AF for ultrawide as con like they have done before.
With this FL, everything is in focus.

Zoom will be better for native sensor.
Problem is when you use digital zoom, the resolution drops a lot.
2x zoom means divided by 4, while 3x zoom means divided by 9.
At 78mm, s20 will provide a 7.1MP equivalente photo quality.
The 100x zoom of Ultra main cam is 0,01MP quality.
Cropping is only good on real cameras because the high quality image they provide. You can crop and it still will look great.

Well I used lg for years never had a problem with any of there phone reviews are are way off. Samsung is a great phone to but I had the note 10 plus and I didn't see all the big deal about the camera. My friends lg 8 thin q. Took pictures about as good and some times better. I just got the lg v60. The phone is great. Takes amazing pictures. It's a monster phone.

samsung : Speedy char... moreSorry, the Samsung S20 camera is just exactly the same as the V60 despite the fake telephoto camera. It only relies on crop zoom technique, something that the Nokia 808 PureView and the Nokia Lumia 1020 had done for like a million years ago.
But as for the V60's lack of telephoto camera, I'm still not sure about it. While it uses the same crop zoom technique as the Samsung to get a 2x zoom photo, I'm not sure if it can do Triple Shot like the previous V50 and V40 and I love that feature a lot.

As fare I can see...the LG v60 is the most complete flagship for now in 2020...of course these is just my opinion. You may have different opinion and I accept it.

lol here comes the contradiction.
samsung : Speedy charging solutions, incl. a 25W charger in the box
Pros Versatile triple camera setup (even with a fake telephoto)
LG : No fast(er) charging (Quick Charge 4.0+ (25W) USB-C adapter included in the box)
Cons No dedicated telephoto camera

Since Sammy ditched the 3.5 jack, the 3.5 mm jack demanding people are as of now suddenly not practicality and quality demanding, but only some niche customers...
Now, just what is left to do, is repeat that nonsense a 100 inreview times, and it becomes fact to casuals.
