I couldn't find it unlocked in a Danish shop for the equivalent of the 930euros the previous commenter mentioned. For 930 I could only see carrier deals, so maybe he meant that. We'll see when/if he replies.
At an independent webshop (so no carrier deals) it is for 1100eur bundled with WH xm3 but they say only the first 25 orders are eligible for the bundle - that's an insanely low number. On the carrier deal (telia) they don't mention such a limit for pre-order. So who knows for sure. Should appear in stock by the 16th though.

Nick.B, 02 Jun 2020I don't use 800 nits, but I have it per needed! I don't use... moreYou need 800 nits for what? Going near the Sun and use your phone there?
You need 65W for what? When your phone is more than good enough to last a day, what's the point of needing to top it off in a hurry? I bet you always charge your phone overnight, in that case Sony's Battery Care will make sure your phone's battery will be protected from early degradation due to your bad charging habit. Those 65W-charged phones from 6 months ago? I doubt their capacity remains within 90% as of this moment. Meanwhile, ever since the first introduction of it, the Xperia XZ Premium's 3430mAh battery remains at 90 to 95% maximum capacity even after 2 years.
Seriously, you only think you need those things because these foolish manufacturers made you think so, but in reality, you're actually good to go even without those things.
Yes, Sony also does introduce features that we can live without, but those things are actually sensible and truly enhances the experience, such as the H.S. Power Control, which saves your battery by not charging it as you're using the phone. The last time I've tried an OLED screen, it was bright and visible enough to be used outdoors even at just 600 nits, and because it doesn't go beyond that, I can also prevent burn ins from happening. But sure thing, you can afford to have screen replacements every 6 months, right?

Currently im almost happy owner of LG V40 (awesome audio, but phone begins to be slower and slower...). Well.. there is no chance someone from LG company are reading this... but I just preordered Xperia 1 ii. I was waiting for LG V60 Dual sim in Europe. Spending a lot hours of googling etc... and apparently, no dual sim version for old continent... shame on LG, viva la Sony :)

Your phne has two batteries.
Each uses 32.5W.
Then they advertise 65W.

Even though the overall rating and review is positive about Xperia 1 II. I'm still missing the aspects like 20 fps, Eye AF, HS etc. Not too detailed IMHO.

Nick Tagataka, 02 Jun 2020When I recommended a photographer I know to buy V40 ThinQ, ... moreI basically said the same thing. Any professional if at all wants to buy a "premium smartphone" will be interested in X1 II/LG rather than others. If he wants to save the money and just want use a smartphone for sake of using it, that depends on him. And again we can't generalize. Many people who bought LG will tell you why they did not go for much cheaper other brands with high end specs. But again, buying a smartphone varies from person to person especially in general public.

Nick Tagataka, 02 Jun 2020When I recommended a photographer I know to buy V40 ThinQ, ... moreAtleast LG has got their strategy right by pricing their phones reasonably.
They'll surely do well with that tactic.
Buying Sony on the other hand is like stepping foot on a sinking ship.

Smithravi, 02 Jun 2020Your first statement doesn't make any sense. Point of smart... moreWhen I recommended a photographer I know to buy V40 ThinQ, he basically ignored my advise and got himself Mi 9 Lite instead. He later replaced his Nex-7 with a7III.
Meaning? Those who have dedicated cameras most likely use the dedicated cameras if they want to tweak settings in the manual mode. Making professional features the main selling point of a non-pro consumer electronic gadget won't end up well strategically, look at how much LG is struggling to make sales each year.

Nick.B, 02 Jun 2020I don't use 800 nits, but I have it per needed! I don't use... moreAgain preferences. 500 nits is already a bright screen for indoors and outdoors. Unless you pull out your smartphone directly under the sun, I'm pretty sure no one will have any problems with the brightness. OTOH, what's important to me is that viewing angles. I need the same brightness and colours in every viewing angles.
Xperia already do 50% battery in 30min for such extreme urgent situations. This is pretty much common for any fast charging brands inlcuidng apple and samsung except that Oppo 65W where you can reach 50% battery in 20 min I guess.
I don't understand whyt you mean there is no for 3K and 4K on Xperia 1 II. What are you trying to say?? If you are pointing out it can't play 3K or 4K content, then you're wrong. Unless you live in a country or place where bandwidth is limited, there is no problem with displaying 4K content (Just watch Xperia 1 youtube videos). Apart from this, you record and watch 4K on your smartphone itself.

RishiGuru, 02 Jun 2020After reading the GSMArena review on Sony Xperia 1 II, I fo... moreThey pretty much omitted important aspects of this smartphone (20 fps, HS ...) and used plenty words misleading (regarding 4K content, S20 Ultra price, recording only 30 fps and so on). So to me it is no surprise you feel that way. Please watch Juan and TK Bay on youtube (For ex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozkWS_YqwYM ). They streamed a lot and discussed a lot in detail about this smartphone and why this is important. Then I'm pretty sure you will change your perspective.
And yes, this smartphone is oriented at peeple who wants to dive deeper in manual controls. Not to forget colours and display is also important. I'm also a regular user but to me the selling point is design, display and colours. As I said in earlier comments, this phone is never for mainstream public. Or else they would have followed other brands with refresh rates and megapixels.
Also don't just confine yourself to one website. I would share myself more information to you once I get my hands on it.
