Oneplus has gone nuts. The Nord is way too overpriced and overhyped for what it offers. It's practically dead before it's even out in the market.
For $30 more, you can get double the storage (128GB instead of 64GB), a bigger (6.67") more beautiful, more immersive, punch hole free and notch free all screen HDR10+ bezel-less display, a bigger 4700mAh battery, a more powerful snapdragon 865 processor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 8K 24fps/30fps video capability, faster UFS 3.1 internal storage, a better macro and main camera with better out of camera jpeg processing, and even an IR blaster which is 100% more useful than the 90Hz display and OIS in the main wide angle camera.
Unless the 128GB Poco F2 Pro is not available in one's country or online, I can't imagine not spending just $30 more for all of the above better offering from Xiaomi (Poco F2 Pro). I'd rather have a Samsung A71 and save money than get this overpriced midrange from Oneplus.

It has aluminium frame ? Also other initial hands on reviews said the screen doesnt support HDR and the frame is made of plastic. due to price restrictions. Pls verify.

Also, xda have said the display doesn't get terribly bright (suggesting that it will be an issue when used in sunlight).
WRT the cameras, the back would best be described as a two camera system as even good (and this isn't even good) macro systems are relatively niche.

That's not aluminum/metal frame. It's just chrome-finished plastic frame. You can tell by the texture and feel of the frame.

I'd rather choose IP68 and UFS 3.0 over 5G.

At 400 Euro with a midrange chipset that provides half the performance of the SD865 looking at AntuTus charts, this will be a tough sell. OnePlus 7T not far off in price. Also, midrange phones need a 3.5 jack. Hmm still skeptical.

BrendonF, 21 Jul 2020The SD855 is faster but doesn't support 5g so its not ... more5g isn't available everywhere.
By the time, it becomes the norm, this SD765 phone will be outdated.
