OIS is enough is you need shutter between 1/4s - 3/4s.
Useless for faster shutter or more than 1s.

    Variety is the spice of life. Hoping more brands will follow suite and add a smaller compact size to their lineup. I'd prefer to see something even smaller than the 4a and SE2.

      Nearly a year I'm using the 3a :)simple compact reliable , it's just too good for the price. So I'll definitely take this 4a.

        Then, just flash magisk via ADB

          It's not that the Pixel phones are better than Huawei or Xiaomi, it's the fact that for YEARS most of the Chinese phones have poor to no support for North or South America LTE. Maybe if they came out with phones that worked outside India and China they would have more success.

                Have cancelled the preorder of Nord phone after hearing its launch. It's just perfect as it is having small form factor to hold it for a longer time without any problem. I am a non gamer so generally use a phone for documents handling ,web surfing , songs & video streaming ,and still photography of new places that I get chance to visit. For me it's brightness , speaker sound and amazing optics suits me. The larger screen and unnecessary gimmicks causes more drain of a battery. With this phone ,it is not a problem. Google provides good battery optimisation as compared to the others.though it is not a flagship but i may haven't need them.

                  Cons aren’t really con here. Just wrote coz had to write something in con section too.

                      It also has 5 years of Software support and premium features that you never see on midrange phones like Wireless Charging and an IP rating. So the rating is based on what it offers as an iPhone at the price and the value it holds to iPhone users.

The features you listed on in that price range mostly come from Chinese manufacturers and they don't really well in North America. Even the Nord is not gonna get a US release.

                                    Small point: you say top of the range phones don't have 3.5mm jack. Have you told Sony?

                                        Gsmarena is one of my preferred destinations for audio quality test/recommendations, but whatever has plagued mobile phone reviews in general has its firm grips on their air canals.
                                        Almost all reviewers with the exception of whathifi.com deliberately omits audio quality in their reviews, why?
