The cost of the device seem to have upgraded but the features are not so much. I wish it was a bit affordable.

Snapdragon 865 is a bit of issue due to its battery drain features. I think the smartphone could have been priced better.

Would be great if you can do Note 20 Ultra 4G review as I think it will have better battery endurance than the 5G.

How many times did it interrupt you and ask for you to sign up for a Samsung service? You didn't even touch the phone if it's less than 20. Did you get the super creepy pop-up about noticing that you got some exercise and asking to share it with the world? Did you get the July 2020 WiFi driver that drops constantly? Did you pick up the phone in the morning and find that Galaxy Store added 15 new spyware apps that can't be disabled or have their permissions revoked? Is it missing promised security updates yet.

Roberthxx, 22 Aug 2020Now, Samsung can not compete with Apple anymore. Here is wh... moreLol, nothing suits you! How sad.. Lol

Now, Samsung can not compete with Apple anymore. Here is why:
1.Battery life - there is no way you come thru the day with 4500 mAh and Exinos 990.
2.Apple CPU is 2 years ahead of Snapdragon and 3-4 years agead of Exinos.
3.Samsung can not get under display fingerprint to work right.
4.Network signal is not in par with Apple.
                  5. Samsung does not understand what means fast charging. In 2020, 25W charging is slow. (Apple too isnt at the best here)
                  6. Samsung can not seamlessly change networks if you travel from one country to another.

I do not like Apple, but what else have we at the moment? Huawei is the best, but I can not have the phone without service like Apple pay, Google pay or Samsung pay. OnePlus 8 Pro? (I use it right now) - Battery life again too bad, camera not good enough.

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2020Totally agree.. You are so true! It's crap in all aspects regarding its price. Failing it's his name!

The phone price is really unjustified. Samsung is experimenting with user behaviour with such a high price. Although I can afford to buy it but I will never buy this phone. It's not value for the money.
Also, the specifications are designed in such a way which virtually forced you to go with Ultra model.

This is the third post in a row you've made where it says the frame is made of stainless steel. It isn't. It’s made of aluminium. My Note 20 Ultra is arriving today, so I'm excited about the phone, but IDK why you all keep saying it’s stainless steel when that isn't sourced from anywhere, and Zack from JerryRigEverything clearly shows that it’s aluminium

Anonymous, 19 Aug 2020Those are details, not noise. Check out Xperia 1 II and iPh... moreFair enough. But you seem to be overlooking the fact that there is actually more noise with less textures on Note 20 Ultra's sample when you look at other areas of the frame such as the colorchecker, the subway map, a strip of brown paper that holds color bands etc. Not to mention that P40 series uses heavy cropping & upscaling resulting in softened details (which I'm still struggling to understand why they even did so), therefore a slight loss of textures cannot be fully attributed to the noise reduction algorithms that Huawei uses.

Of course, you can use a bigger wattage with a bigger battery but why force it? You will save 10 minutes a day per charge for a loss of an hour or two overall longevity after a year. I had the note 10+ and it gets hot with the fast charging out of the box even if you don't use it while it's being charged, and yes, you can notice it degrade after some time. On iPhones, it's even more noticeable as you can read the value and the batteries are smaller. On my old XS, I used an iPad 12W charger all the time and the battery was 90% after 10 months. I talk from experience, not from reading articles and news. Bigger wattage and temperature destroys batteries faster and I will pick a slower charger any day.
What's the point of 15 minutes shorter charging if the battery will last an hour shorter after a few months? And yes, the manufacturers want your phone to get worse after time so you have to buy spare parts or get a new device.
