Basically, big amount of RAM is filled with cached data of some apps to make them launch faster. So, no matter how much RAM a smartphone has: 3, 4, 6, 8, even 16 Gb - it is fully utilized.

Looks like I made the right gamble last year to buy the Zenfone 6. I was so afraid it would be the last Zenfone with a headphone jack...
I also own a Zenfone 4 Pro as backup device.

Just move on from this reasoning..
Simple logic : if you can afford $700++ phones, then you can also afford to get a wireless earphones / a decent dac & amp.

Is this phone coming to America? Everywhere I read it's saying Asus decided not to bring it to America this time and it didn't have the bands for TMobile (71) and the proper 5g bands for TMobile
I know normally they bring their Zenfones to America but this time I'm not seeing the different versions of the phone versions A, b, and c with the C version being for North America...kinda worried about this.... This phone is to good to not come to America lol

I'm willing to buy a USB dac amp considering how good the overall package is. I can also use the dac amp everywhere else and it will increase the sound quality by a lot.

XDheadphone jack is necessary for gamers its a liability for us.we can charge while gaming and use headphones at same point .and we all know howz the latency in bluetooth hdph right?.and connectors makes our life more complicated.
conclusion- headphone is must in phone.take 1k extra but give it

I really love the Flip camera but i will not pay 700€-800€ for a phone that has useless gaming stuff in it. If people want a +60Hz display and a Ultra fast CPU then they would buy the "Asus ROG Phone 3".
Now i have to buy the "Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G" and guess what it has every functionality including Infrared, Radio and a 3.5mm jack, and all this for 300€.

Too expensive. All companies go down this road. Awesome all rounder phone for a good price, then smash the price up. $500usd id pay. My zenfone 3 zoom was $200usd new..pocophone f1 $350usd new.. but this is insane.

Looking at this new iteration, I don't know what Asus is thinking, Zenfone 6 started at 450€, with some store discounts going below 300€, the prices I saw rumored for this start at 700€.
No headphone jack because they needed the space for the triple camera setup, really? A piece on the top affects the design of the bottom board?
OLED, some like it others hate it, I don't like it personally, even for good implementations of it.
Fingerprint sensor location seems to be really neat.
Telephoto camera is quite welcome, the lack of OIS in the lower tier models it is not.
Still a single bottom firing loudspeaker... at least it is loud and clear.
