maxmin, 13 Sep 2020Yeah, update doesn't sound that great to me. I don... moreI don't like the Messenger bubbles either, that's why I turned them off. Easy enough in the settings menu inside the Messenger app, just a quick fyi. :)

Nice update actually. Simple yet useful. Making and improve existing feature more stable rather than adding a bad new feature. But only available on pixel phones. Which to me is a downside because of the availability, especially if you live on the other countries like India.

AnonD-804996, 13 Sep 2020Yet half of this article reads as "iOS had it years ag... moreI had 3 iphones ; my last iPhone was xs. Ok...You get updates very quick in iOS ; but they are fixing bugs and staff like that. No matter how many updates you get on iOS ; they are all quite useless ; you don't see new functions or something different . This time I'm staying with Android ; I'm not going back to apple. I can download apps from outside play store ; I can change and cuostimize ; I can download apps with many TV chanels from my country(for free; but on iOS I had to pay for the same channels) and mirror on my TV. Android phones don't get major updates that quick(except pixels) but they are featured packed (like my s20 plus) . Apple needs another 10 years of updates to get the amount of features that Android phones have

Screen recorder is the most useless feature we ever seen

Power button to mainly to wake phone, open camera and restart. I don't need options for controlling Google devices that I don't have.

I may forgo this update but then I get no security updates.

Yeah, update doesn't sound that great to me. I don't even like the Facebook Messages bubbles and remove them immediately when they come in. Thankfully very few friends use FBM.

The change to the power button sounds like another effort to push Google devices on us. The only time I use the power button is to wake up phone, is to double click to open camera and actia

AnonD-804996, 13 Sep 2020Yet half of this article reads as "iOS had it years ag... morePeople who say about IOS which had these features before, doesn't realize that in android system every android phone maker has it's own UI which has many unique features. For example Samsung had all these features and many features Apple copied from it in IOS 14 from 3 years ago in samsung's ONE UI. Huawei, Xiaomi and all other brands also had them before plus their own features too. Now that Google add them to stock Android it only means that Google own phones and any devices that run vanilla Android now has them too. But, it doesn't mean other android companies never had them before.

I'm not liking the way screenshot has to be taken. It's more disruptive. The old way was easier and more affective.

"Had it been a letter of the alphabet, it would have been an 'R'. Had it been a dessert, it would have been called 'Red Velvet Cake'. Thankfully, Google has moved past all that nonsense and we have the much nicer sounding 'Android 11' in our hands."

Sorry GSMArena, but I definitely MUCH prefer dessert name.

Just press the Home button twice and the entire interface shrinks to make everything easily accessible. Of course with an S10e, I have no problem anyway...

I know there are, but not as deep as this. This is an upgrade over them

Andreidinutu, 13 Sep 2020This is new. I like androud reviewsThis is not new, you are new, there are Android 7, 8, 9, 10 reviews.

I am using the PB in my OP8P . Looks like Android has perfected the entire OS and it's experience. Only minor variations and enhancements possible now a days. But strangely my OP8P selfi started going soft but I suspect it is due to the tempered glass glue! Wish my iOS 14 someday runs like this. .

One-handed use is still impossible on nearly all phones can not reach the top of the screen with one hand oh wait on windows phone you would long-press the home button and the whole screen would condense into half of the screen and you could continue to use your phone, what a modern world we live in... as we all have enormous hands!!!

The idea of dividing notification shade into different sections for conversations and silent notification and the rest is nice but why those HUGE GAPS in between those sections. It’s giving me OCD.
