But I like the A15 - needs to be inside an Android phone.

The Mi 11 Ultra is miles ahead of the 13 Pro Max in every setting... Both in daylight and low-light its really no contest. The Mi is pin sharp and renders fine detail exceptionally well... The Apple renders detail with that pastel like artificial effect... It seems Apple is painting it in rather than producing a realistic image.

        Camera samples looking only around 20% better than imx682, and that's not even close to the top in Android, period. Sad for such hyped hardware.

          First apple phone that released I'm reposting some comments:

          "Very Dissapointed in this mobile from apple....lack of features, I was Expecting more, a better camera to be exact, larger amount of memory and 3G"

                What is up with the sky in this picture ? Is it acceptable ? Looks like someone has hand painted it.

                  I fully agree with gsmarena . iPhone pics are over sharpened to mask poor foliage and detail. Mi 11 ultra is clearly better unless you are in denial.

                      But it is not only apple, there are more brands getting comparable amount of hate.

                      Unless your name is Xiaomi there is always someone hating a brand here in the comment section, no brand is perfect but you can predict upfront what people are going to say on articles about certain brands and what they will not say.

                        Apple also seem to have a reputation as an elitist brand, deservedly or not. This, along with the success they enjoy tends to rile people. Apple themselves don't really do much to help this situation with some of their antics.

                        So even as someone who appreciates Apple and what they offer, I can certainly understand a degree of the derision they receive. What I don't get is why certain people who comment on this site site seem to offer nothing but. Also why someone would claim it's not possible to criticize Apple on this site, in full denial of the fact that the comments sections here are loaded with such.

                        In fact I have always considered the readership of GsmArena to be heavily Android biased, this being due to reading the comments sections.

                          I for example updated my PC to Windows 11 today, it changed a lot of stuff which in my opinion is not for the good.

                          Staying "boring" and not changing the design that much would be better here.

                          Or look at Android 12, material you is horrible and honestly I prefer kept it "boring" and fixed some issues Android has.

                          And no I am not saying iOS is better, it is not hence why I don't use it, but boring doesn't always mean bad and new doesn't always mean better, this applies to everything not only tech in my opinion (that is my point, so if your comment claimed PS5 is boring I would have said the same thing here)

                                Non technical thoughts here
                                Trying the iphone 13 pro max now after using Samsung notes forever.
                                It seems to do everything very well, the only thing it doesn't do is inspire any emotion for me. It feels pretty much like every other flagship phone (generally speaking).

                                Coming from a note 9 I was hoping to feel blown away or something. I suppose illogically for this much $ I want to feel like I'm getting something amazingly futuristic and new - something "more" than really good and safe.

                                I'm considering returning and trying zfold3 or wait for pixel fold despite objectively knowing they have thier own downsides. Who knows, maybe trying those would make me appreciate it more.
