Google's Top Shot image quality is still terrible. You get either 0.8 or 3.1 megapixels, when you choose a specific frame. The Top Shot quality of an iPhone 13 Mini (yes, the iPhone offers exactly the same feature) is far superior.

By the way, 3rd party apps can't save dng files with the periscope camera and 3rd party apps can't access the 50/48 megapixel modes either.
Very disappointing.

No stereo speakers test? No video test for all 4 stabilization modes including test for Cinematic Pan mode? No proper battery test, since its an adaptive battery? Do the test again n review it the right way!

My local shop in Denmark just imported 15 of the black ones. I'm mainly buying this for the insane astrophotograpy mode! Man I can't wait to try it out. The display should also be super duper crisp!

Lol, 84 hours of battery endurance rating? That kind of figure is not going to worry BBK Electronics, let's put it that way. Makes me wonder how Samsung can achieve crazy rating with the S21 Ultra despite the same type of screen panel and screen resolution.

Almidani, 10 Nov 2021This is probably the worse phone to release in 2021. Its a ... moreI get that the point is to be insulting but can we try to be a bit less hyperbolic? It's clearly not a mid-range device, but it is disappointing when it comes to benchmarks & perhaps real-world battery life.
It may offer the best video on Android, along with excellent stills which will most likely improve over time if history is an indicator.
For cpu benchmarking purposes it's definitely slower than the flagships.
Yes also for a great screen when if it's a step behind apple & Samsung's best. Being number three isn't terrible.

Badelhas, 08 Nov 2021I also still own a small Pixel 2 and love the camera but ba... moreI am in the same boat as you, Pixel 3 user here, the phone is still fantastic, camera holds up even in 2021, battery life is poor though. After going through many reviews of Pixel 6 Pro, it is definitely a big step up in camera department, its photos are top tier. If you want a better camera phone than upgrade to Pixel 6 Pro but if you also care about battery life then S21 Ultra is way to go.

Regarding the newly released Google pixel 6, while the custom made tensor chip maybe a big upgrade over the 765+ used in previous Google phones it still lags behind performance wise to the 888 which guarantees it'll lag behind even more to the upcoming 895/898. And compared to the newly released apple iPhone 13 with it's a15 bionic chip just destroys the pixel 6 tensor chip big time. So once again Google fails to put top tier chips into their flagship phones which is why Google has never made a premium top tier phone which is disappointing thus making the pixel 6 only a mid tier phone just like Google's past flagship phone. And if that wasn't bad enough Google's pixel 6 pro price of $900 is about the same as apple iPhone 13.
