You like it because you paid good money for it and feels part of 'something'. Also because you feel having a premium product, that's it. I think the whole iPhone use experience is inferior to that with your old Samsung phone. Even I wouldn't exchange my middle ground vivo with an iPhone, go figure, it's just more open, customizable... has less dictated limits. Sure iPhones are powerful premium products, but they are closed and limited; and too costly for what they offer. A walled garden vs. the world; I'll take the world.

In photos on the bottom of the page press albums
In albums , scroll down and you will see all photos and videos are organized in different folders like : videos, screen recordings , selfies , hidden , selfies and ….
If you want a photo ir video to not show up in main gallery , just add them to hidden folder and they will not show up in other albums

Did the same thing. Bought iphone 13 pro max... top class hardware phone. extreme battery life for flagship... but just culdnt go whit IOS...sold it after 6 months... not prepared to be kept in box whit iso... phone is top. realy didt think id ever say this for iphone.. but software... ios is just not for me

So after reading this article I have sold my Z fold 3 and got iPhone 13 pro max 256 gb
I was a samsung user for last 10 years but now I think I really don’t need to download mp3 songs or videos from here and there which I use to earlier
One thing though is the display on pro max is not as crisp as my z fold 3 . Not sure if it’s some setting or that’s how it is

I bought my first iPhone, the 13 Pro, at launch but even now after three months I’m still not sure if I want to keep it or return to Samsung with the S22. I’ve got past many of the little annoyances in iOS but the biggest on for me is the Photos app. It’s simply awful, awful, awful. Organising photos into albums is a tedious process and browsing through them is a chore. Not to mention the ridiculous fact photos taken with the camera are lumped together with the pictures you save from IM apps or internet (as well as screenshots).

SwiftKey has a top row number block for iOS and it's also the best keyboard for an iPhone.

I only have an iPhone due to the size of the Android competition when my old Huawei died. And I hate iOS! It really is the small things that ruins the software experience. Will gladly go back to Android as soon as the phones fit back into my hand.

So I know a couple of eyerolls will be coming my way but I use SwiftKey..a Microsoft product...as keyboard. Used it on my android device as well. It is customisable for all the finicky things. Haptic feedback, number row, long press...etc. And it remembers your customisable dictionary which is great for me since I type messages in two different languages....

So so so....
I have now right now Iphone 13 Pro, Zfold 3, Pixel 4 and Zflip 3. I have had for a while Mi11 Ultra and S21 too. But S21 is the same old Exynos shitttt . And my problem with phones is the same. I need a small phone with ALL IN. And for 2019 and 2020 that was a Pixel 4. But missing a 5G and only 64Gb storage is no more my daily driver. My daily driver now is the Giant Z fold3 because of they really have ALL IN and more and more...But when I need to wear a Tshirt and shorts in summer The Giant have no chance. So the question with the size stay and stay... Iphone for same as the author reason (stupid IOS) is not my everydays choice. Yes is so pleasant and smooth and simple and Luxorious and the camera is top and so so.But for a couple of days with them and I look back for Androids All In. With Iphone just for example is too much complicated files transferring and especially media. And that sucks. On other side Zflip is so funny and fine and beautiful that I love it. But the camera with less to no zoom is simply not enough for me. SO WHAT ?! WHY SONY 5x (compact) have no wireless charging? Why Pixel 6 is over 6 inches? Why S21 have not Snapdragon(in EU) and really zoom camera. I think because that is the business. And the business looks for the profit not for the users.
