No doubt P50 is a good phone...but to us is just a brick without 5G and no Google app access. Unless, Huawei P50 allow user to hack the phone access to 5G services and by pass restriction customize into Google service at owner cost.

Excellent phone for those that don't download movies/play heavy games on the streets. Also for those who don't need Google's apps.
Great camera as always, great battery, great and smooth interface that can be compared with any top level phone.
In term of price: now has an 100€ discount and is delivered with an 100€ ear buds. That means that the phone is 1000€, which is in line with the direct competitors that can give you warranty in your country.

I use vance... moreI guess you don't use international banking, watch protected content, or use Google Pay or any other secure apps common in the developed world.... If you live in China, then yeah, Huawei is fine for you, and you get social credits for defending it.

I use apkpure, aptoide and F-droid for my apps. I use vanced instead of YouTube I don't use google maps, but an other navigatiesysteem. I love the ColorOs skin on my phone better than the so called pure android.
Why should i bother about that google stuff? Tell me!

Xperia latest 1, 5 models ultra superior in every aspect of processing... Not to mention its amazing Android support... Meh only with this one...

Hormel, 28 Jan 2022I don't know why Google can't make reliable phone... moreMaybe the problem is not in Google but in you. I have Pixel 4 and 6, and both are still 100% working. All my older HTC 10, 11 phones are working even my Blackberry z10, and my Nokia 9. I can tell you I still use my Iphone 3 for music playing in the beach.

I love Huawei, I like the quality of phone and cameras are excellent. Looking posh. I am eagerly waiting in UK. Huawei is best and top in smart phone industry

Without Google services, this phone is useless to anyone outside of China and a few other like places. Why would anyone buy this in the developed world is beyond me, especially when Huawei is so deeply connected to the Chinese state and your information is collected and monitored, for Chinese state purposes and without any outside safeguards.
