L.O.R.D, 21 Feb 2022At this point you might as well add this: no refrigerator, ... moreI better get all those things if I'm paying $1000 for a phone

Why would anyone buy this with 8gb Ram in 2022, is epic fail.
    The S205G has 12gb Ram

notafanboy, 21 Feb 2022You don't understand much do you? I'm not really ... moreoled has much more downsides than LCD.

tech is overhyped just because samsung is main supplier for mobile. Also, what a lame galaxy S series lacks the new QD-oled.

T-doffus, 21 Feb 2022Interesting. The battery and performance numbers are not as... moreeven if it had 4800mAh like 21+, results would still be lower.
New screen is smaller and has less pixels to push.

Chixby, 21 Feb 2022The thin bezels are impressive! Brought to you by M panels.

Its like cars, current cars are faster or just as fast as older models with bigger engines while being more efficient.

'To counteract that, the S22+ appears to be oversharpening a lot of finer details all throughout the frame'

Nothing new, but your favorite sponsored youtuber gonna tell you it is all details. LOL !!!

notafanboy, 21 Feb 2022You don't understand much do you? I'm not really ... moreIt being used to peak sunlight brightness doesn't not discredit it's self destructive nature to an OLED panel

                Your logic is this

INTENDED PURPOSE dismisses claims or any argument of peak brightness being damaging to OLED

You resort to name calling and and hominems but that's not gonna help you

OBJECTIVELY speaking higher brightness means more heat and OLED is an organic based technology OLED is susceptible to this type of damage hence why in TVs for example they resort to heat sinks and even Samsung themselves have a warning when brightness goes up on their phones

Whether you an enemy or friend of mine that is FACTS and there is nothing you can do about it

But I don't know what I'm talking about Huh?

Those telephoto portraits look very soft. Not good.

IpsDisplay, 21 Feb 2022What's the point of the display reaching 1213 nits bri... moreYou don't understand much do you? I'm not really surprised as you are a IPS panel worshiper, which is extremely sad. Imagine worshiping inferior tech.
Destructive? How? It's meant to be used in direct sunlight. For short periods of time. Not 24/7. Hence why the highest peak brightness is only available in "adaptive brightness" mode. Try a bit harder next time with your trolling.

Reserve a separate page for OneUI related features, i.e lags, frame drops, bloats, adverts and so on.

"Plus, ray tracing and variable ray shading have the potential to take this hardware from great to amazing, given the right support."

                        Really?

                        1) Expecting any kind o meaningfully ray tracing on a phone is just delusional.
                        2) Even the 888 has VRS, but one year later I don't think any company has supported it.

Anonymous, 21 Feb 2022No charger, no fast charger , no headphones, no usb c adapt... moreAt this point you might as well add this: no refrigerator, no free wife, no happy meals, no free groceries etc. Your expectations of free items with a phone are way too unrealistic

What's the point of the display reaching 1213 nits brightness

When that is self destructive to OLED .. pointless

And with all this hype around 2X OLED and yet still it's under the 100hr mark

Come on man I thought OLED was the wonder material with amazing battery savings

Look at the train map in the studio setting, especially in low light. 12MP or detail enhancer, it looks disgusting and very unusable compared to s21/fe. What the hell?

Anonymous, 21 Feb 2022No charger, no fast charger , no headphones, no usb c adapt... moreAnd the regular OPPO phone becomes junk within 2 years, while Samsung will continue updating the phones and keeping them fresh.

What's up with the disgustingly oversharpened portraits? Their photography sometimes is 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

No charger, no fast charger , no headphones, no usb c adapter, no printed full user manual, no applied screen protector, no case, no pouch , no stickers in box and you still ask same price instead of cutting it at least 20 percent.
NO THANKS.. EVEN a regular OPPO HAS MORE

So, the Xclipse GPU seems very promising. A driver update on 24th February might solve most of the problems and I am expecting at least 10% battery life improvement after this main update.
I feel sorry for SD fanboys that Exynos might not turn out to be as bad as some early uncredited reviewers claimed to be 😎😎
