Anonymous, 24 Mar 2022You can easily set the screen frequency to a consistent 60hzi set screen to 60Hz, dark theme, power saving mode and S22 got only 4:55h screen on time, which is worse than my 2 year old S20. If you use 120Hz, light theme - good luck with battery, but i think you should test by yourself, if you live in US you can return the phone.

This test might be sponsoded... My S22 had 4:30h screen on time. Thats 1 hour less than 2 year old S20 !!!. Dont buy phones with snapdragon 8gen1.

Samsung years ago had the best apsc camera.
Should make galaxy do exactly what cam would.
Not 100% opposite.

What should have been done.
S22 = 6,2"
S22+ = 6,7"
S22U = 7,2"
22/22+ with same cam setup of Ultra.

Obviously 50MP detail enhancer needs an example in a shot that has a lot of things in it; like a city scape. The 50MP shots of the cat makes no sense and flawed test object for this mode. The 12MP shots of the cat look much better so i am not even going to look for details in the 50MP detail enhanced shots; its not interesting.
Would be nice if there were some shots of a city where detail enhancer can be seen at work for this review. If it works, zooming or pixel peeping isnt needed; looking at the whole photo on a laptop screen should directly show a more detailed shot.

I find it bizarre that the reviewer uses the iPhone Pro for the basis of comparison to this base level S22 but never mentions the base iPhone 13 which costs the same and is the same size.it would be the most logical comparison but it's ignored.
Perhaps because comparing the s22 to the iPhone 13 only illustrates how feature poor the iPhone is.

S22 specially Snapdragon version at least don't have throttling issues. Mine doesn't get hot while I use various apps at the same time not even charging. Have it checked cause is not normal.

It allows me to truly use the S22 in one hand, without having to shift it. With my S21 I needed to shift it in my hand to reach the upper left corner. I no longer need to do that with my S22.
The S22 naked does feel worse in my hand. There is no way I could use it without a case because it feels very uncomfortable and would easily slip out. But I've been using cell phones since 1994 and have always used a case with them. So it's really not an issue for me.

Ernet, 24 Mar 2022This is the funniest tego I've ever read so far. Man, ... moreI'm a real user and have been using my S22 Snapdragon for thirty days now. I've had no GPS issues, no over heating issues, no lags etc. My S22 has been better than my S21 in every way except for the battery. It has been extremely rock solid. Just like my S21 was.

Quite happy about it. I was right, the battery life, despite smaller battery and more powerful chipset is actually very good. Some crazy people were predicting less than 80 hours, or even 70 hours, and it scored much more. Good, Samsung.
The rest is just as expected, a top quality phone.

No wnder why xiaomi dropped isocell for flagships, vivo 80 pro+ may have exmor as well.
I do not know the OEM, someone is gonna use a WRGB exmor 1/1.4" , I do not remember if 50MP as well. Need to check the post on weibo.
