"It uses a familiar formula that has proven effective in drawing in crowds of satisfied, even if often unexcited users."

Have we forgotten that S series sales have decreased drastically, with S21 sales being some of the lowest in Samsung's history.

So I recently got my S22 and it's great and everything. The one problem I tend to have with it is the phone gets so HOT! Hot to a point where I need to put it in front of a fan to cool down. I can't hold it for too long because it burns my finger. What can I do about this issue? If I change between apps then it gets hot and if I stay on one app then it takes a while before it starts to slowly get warm again

This is the funniest tego I've ever read so far. Man, read comments on groups of everyday REAL USERS ! Battery, GPS overhitting,, lags..and so on.

How about the wifi no sleep bug?

Incremental is OK fewer big changes mean fewer problems. But there's always the risk of people deciding the increment is too small to warrant updating. It's getting close to that point with me. My OP6T is good enuff and I'd not be thinking of a replacement if it wasn't for the cracked screen or a wish to keep up-to-date with the OS.

why are these high end phones upgrade their hardware in increments, like the cameras, I know there are bigger sensors now available like the 1". what happens is that people tend to replace their phones every year because of these small improvements. what a waste of money.

A very soft and forgiving review of a very mediocre phone.

                        - Nowhere near the top of the benchmarks.
                        - Screen frequency is not consistent.
                        - Samsung were caught messing with clock speeds and benchmarks.
                        - Less screen ppi than previous Galaxy phones.
                        - Poorer battery life than previous Galaxy phones.

                        But still, it's a "flagship".

                            Is it s21 ? I can cheat that am selling s22 and I will ship s21 :D :D :D

The battery life would be a complete deal breaker for me. I have the S21 and that's bad enough.

I think Oppo did the exact opposite with their magnification camera even if its usefullnes is much smaller. Samsung should be able to both making a stable phone with the speccs that people expect and include some new funny stuff thats actually useful.

Lol, iPhone 13 Pro has the same endurance as the base S22. I wonder how that can be when iphones don't have any features.

l held the phone in a shop today and it is really uncomfortable especially backside being flat the sides really bothered me, S21FE sits much better in hand. l usually use a case just outside and when l'm home l take it off. l was between S21FE and S22 but now l made my desicion. YMMV

I would love instead an improvement in ultra wide, it has been the same 1/2.55" inch sensor for many years now. autofocus on ultrawide should be available on all models not only the ultra for good macro shots. I think a periscope cam can also be included. Still, I think adding real optical zoom and a wider GN5 sensor is a welcome development.
