1.Sony should have put 90hz display.
2. Stereo speakers is a must.
3. A MediaTek midrange Dimensity chipset would have been better for the price it's asking.
Love the pocket friendly 6 inch size.

No surprise given how buggy MIUI is. I've been using Poco X3 for a while now and this is definitely a good time to replace it with this phone.

Overpriced by at least 200€ and unimpressing. If you only want battery life you might as well buy Xperia 10 III when it drops to half the price of the IV in a couple of months.

Well, I have Xperia 10, the first one. So far so good. We got Samsung 10e for my mother, and I was really surprised by the amount of bloatware, all samsung apps that was really annoying to get rid of, that samsung button you can't remap withou adb (or samsung account nobody really need or want). It really is long, but I like ultrawides, guess what is my monitor aspect ratio ;P When this one will break, I will just buy the latest iteration, that is for sure.

Waaaayyyy too overpriced. For 99% people just buy Galaxy A52S (obviously), and even if you are hardcore Sony fanboy and absolutely positively must have Sony phone, just buy a second hand Xperia 5 III (for slightly more) or even Xperia 5 II (for even less if you search well), in both cases you will get much more of a phone.

Snapdragon 695 is anything but that, it's not even the top tier mid range...
Fact is that the Xperia 10 IV has a excellent battery life, but that is due to the combination of the hardware.

The Xperia XZ1 compact was 129 mm long, iPhone 13 Mini 131.5 mm, Galaxy S10e 142.2 mm.

G.B., 14 May 2022Good device, but 500 € is too much.That's an understatement. It's launch price should probably be around 300€ and 50€ lower in a few months. That maybe, just maybe, could convince someone to buy an inferior product for the same amount just for the brand, or no notch, or LDAC, or anything else.

Seems like the perfect "work phone". Endurance and camera. The display wouldn't bother me at all. And plastic back is just a plus!

JoXim, 14 May 2022Yeah, amazing battery life...and that's about it.Amazing battery life in Compact mode. Most Mini phone out there iphone 12/13 mini, iphone se, Samsung s22 or S10e, some sharp Aquous model etc have below average battery life, Only Sony has Compact phone with Amazing Battery life.
For someone like Me who want zx1 compact successor 10 III and 10 IV appeal to me, i just wish they had sd 778G which is equal efficient.

The screen is painfully only 60mm wide while the average width of most screens is 68mm and goes up to 75mm

They could at least put motion blur reduction feature, if it is not stereo speakers a mono strong one would be fine but it is not strong, and the price is a little steep, everything else is fine, I was concerned about the telephoto with no OIS but turned out to be good, and the performance sustainability because of the plastic body but GSM confirmed sustainable performance, charging speed is not a big deal it won't run out of juice anyway even if you force it lol
