Sorry to say, pretty much everything after Snapdragon 870 was like a guy feeding on steriods, good enough to show around in a bodybuilding competition, but not quite a guy to marry and keep.
I don't believe anything they say about improved power efficiency ever now onwards.

Even in GSMarena's own tests, Snapdragon 855 enabled phones are consistently doing 100hrs+ of battery, even with 4000~ mah. Nothing high performing quite matches it even if all you're doing is calls, internet and social networking, etc.

But fine, maybe you can actually use all that horsepower or it will be useful when we carry more bloat around in future.... That's almost the entire point, right?

King-chkopistan, 21 May 2022Yea in terms of gpu, it will definitly be around sd 8607 gen 1 probably would throttle very less and sustain its performance as more efficient and then work out faster than them other chips .dimensity 8100 seems be an example

I don't want stats I won't believe any of this until I try it.
Remember 888 and Gen 1? Yeah...

The benchmark scores do look promising, but I am far more interested in seeing its thermal efficiency. If Qualcomm really claimed that they made the overclocked chipset more heat-efficient than the current standard chipset, that can be a worthy replacement for the still-brilliant 870.

Mate 30 Pro and P40 Pro allow you to record one in a native 1920fps at HD resolution or 960fps at FHD, and in both cases it would look better than a 960fps footage from Sony/Samsung phones.

But after 2 year battery life got less. Still ok but not what it used to be. Really good phone I think but thinking of replacing the battery or buy an other phone. Was thinking of the sony xperia 10 4. Bit smaller also. What do you think?

Camera wise I know my m51 has several lenses but I only use 1. Mostly through whatsapp. Friend of my has apple 10 I think and I really liked his pictures but horrible batterylife.

Anyway. What do you think. Buy new phone? Or replace battery? Budget does not matter. But flagship always have bad batterylife so kostly a no go.

                          What phone should you recommend?

And yes, everyone with basic knowledge looks at the battery review all the time. That's why vanilla S22's gsmarena review was so anticipated.

you have to suffer, 21 May 2022yeah i would like to see phones with slow motion. 120fps is... more😋 Yeah, ankut the 7680fps ... Its also fake. Huawei interpolates even more frames in the 480fps rexording xD I got the P40pro an p50pro.

Storage is to slow for that fps. If you record rain with the Huaweis, the droplets are disappearing and it shows weird artifacts.

Sony Xperia xzs is the only Phone that can do real 720 fps but only for 0.2 seconds, than the cache of the Cam sensor is full xD. There u can see every droplet from the Rain moving in superslowmo with reflection and great quality .

No more power is needed but we need more efficiency . Phones/tablets these days are powerful enough but battery wise there is improvement . They only add fast chargers but no on-the go lasting time.

How do you actually notice if your phone has a good processor?? I gad lots ofvphones and all with differentvprocessor. I did not notice a difference. Explain please.

When I buy a phone I read the review this websites andcibstanly go yo batterylife. That is what I notice.

                                  Which processor hascthe best batterylife??

Even sd 8+ Gen 1 can reach 1M on antutu benchmark, is it still having over heat issue like previous version before? If it still over heat, the vendors will throttling the performance surely.

dude111, 20 May 20227 gen 1 uses samsung's 4nm, while 870 uses TSMC's... morewell its still didnt change the fact that SD 7 gen 1 is far different from 870. not rebranded one.

These are getting really close to Apple chips
I wonder which is more efficient at same performance
                                        Apple chips or this one?!
Either way this is great news for Mobile devices
