I even use 11T pro which is known for heating issues, and it is not nearly as bad as people say.

Need to test cellular performance. The Xperia III series has bad reception and almost no carrier support. It's like year 2005 cell performance.

Good phone despite some heating issues, but the timing is just terrible as always.
Do they seriously expect this to properly compete with the iPhone 14 Pro?

In my opinion, all extra features are worth only additional $100. The battery life of the S22 isn't great, but it's all right. It's not bad at all. A 3x optical zoom is objectively better than a 2.5x optical zoom. Overall, the S22 is a more compact phone. The Xperia 5 IV is almost as tall as the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
People will vote with their money. If they think that this phone is worth it, it'll sell well. I highly doubt it, though.

S22 is just not worth even that 700 grand, as it is just a lame uninteresting phone. Dont get it why Sammy even bothered with that one...

And of course what doesn't show up in the camera tests here is Sony's abilities in action photograph, such as the eye-tracking and bursts mode shooting. If these perform as advertised, other competitors don't have those

Since phones come with a variety of aspect ratios now, it would be useful to state the actual screen width, not just the diagonal

It's notable that the colour rendition is spot on, with possibly the best skin tones seen on a phone camera. A look at the photo comparison tool shows just how horrible the over sharpening is on the Samsung.

not sure why it gets 4.5 stars, while the zenfone 9 got 4.3 with better thermal management at a smaller and balanced size with no weird tall shape(not sure how u could consider it a compact phone when u would need help reaching the upper end of the screen)! and the Zenfone 9 has even a better chip and yet!! even cheaper!
