I recently found out about your site and now I constantly read it. Very interesting review, especially the amount of detail of the 200 megapixel camera is amazing. But what's even more striking is the bokeh from the 50mm portrait lens, with an aperture of f1.6. Probably the strongest natural bokeh in smartphones today.

I was expecting a good camera ... moreI hate to be proven right when I've been saying that there's little to no additional detail with 200mp because what matters is the Bayer pattern since Bayer interpolation relies on the neighbouring colour filters to interpolate a full RGB, therefore luminance and chrominance information for each pixel, almost no one understands that.
Samsung have been boasting about a remosaic algorithm that they claim can allow the sensor to either bin down from 200mp to 50 or 12.5, yet we can see that the 50mp 4 in 1 binned photos cannot resolve the blinds patterns whereas the 27mp 4 in 1 from the 108mp hmx can.
I desperately wanted to be wrong, I wanted a phone with images similar to a 50mp Bayer camera.

Hey gsmaerea, why did you stop providing downscaled images from high resolution to lower resolution (default resolution of camera) in your reviews? It shows great improvement in some phones.

Low light photos and video is a disaster. And it looks like it servilely overcompressed. Especially in video comparison tool.

The night photos are disappointing. The day photos are not much different from the IMX766 sensor. Sadly, the 200mp is just a gimmick.

Anyhow no 4K on Ultrawide and Telephoto is strange, my old 2019 LG can do 4K 30/60 on the main and ultrawide and 4k 30 on the telephoto.
And all 3 are 12mpx each (hardware limitation why the telephoto can not do 60 at all btw on that phone)

Front video only 4k/30 fps...My old 2019 Samsung s10e does 4k/60 fps...At least in such big heavy phone they could put the sd card slot to come in evidence with something...

ASL, 16 Sep 2022Guys, this or Xiaomi 12S Ultra ? Your thoughts ?Well, the Xiaomi 12s ultra has a better camera but you would have to import it with no official warranty. If you did import it then it would be over 60% more expensive than importing the Chinese version of this one so there is a massive price difference.

At least you know you have clean stock software. You´ll like moto experience trust me. User experience is very good
