Google refuse to provide analogue out over USB-C
Your phones are EXPENSIVE, Google, I do not want to spend $$$ on a DAC, only to sit on it in my pocket and break the USB-C port too (which WILL wear out over time no matter HOW careful I am. Or drop the price by $150 on your phones to acknowledge this 'disruption' you intentionally do to the market.
Bluetooth is NOT lossless and decent quality. People feel the difference inside, I bet.
Bluetooth quality sucks, battery will make it planned-obsolescent and disposable within a
year or two. I need infinite play-time as I charge my phone from a portable source for TWO DAYS between charges, with heavy (audio) use, whilst travelling. The technology available supports this, quite well, quite reasonably.
Instead of it being the standard, manufacturers play stupid games and treat customers like crap. I'm not butthurt, this is slowly being recognised.
As the Pirate Bay guy Peter Suunde said: "They're going to have to learn the hard way". Referring to what happens when no freedom exists and the market is captive.
So you see honest musicians getting paid in this situation? No, just the shady middlemen and agenda-pushing 'disruptors.'
Shame on EVERYONE bending over for this slavery way of doing things. Your forefathers had balls, you don't. Simple as that. The minority resisting, know they are special. No, I for one do NOT want a superiority complex, what for? Rather, I would quite like a society with self-esteem. You know what? Democracy flows from that. Join those important two dots at least, people!

Live photo video frames can also show you which details are true because the 7 Pro uses machine learning at 30x and this can make certain details look worse than in a live photo video frame.

Using the tele camera for birds with the live photo feature is really fun! That's a feature I miss from a travel zoom compact camera.
Live photo video frames now have 1.6 megapixels, the 6 Pro only had 0.8 megapixels.
Live photos also make it much easier to identify a camera issue because the short video let's you see whether the autofocus struggled or whether there were moving objects, etc...

Idk how you come to the decision the speakers are fine. Either GSMArena got a very different EQ than me or I need to get my ears tested.
Anyway: Mine sound a bit unbalanced (top and bottom speaker) and very flat and compressed. Almost as if the speakers are covered lightly. I notice it very much with voice and bassy EDM music.

Sorry GSM but you've got cloth ears if you think the Pixel 7 Pro has decent speaker's!
They're definitely inferior to the previous generation...compare them you'll see.
Very disappointed with Google paying little to no attention to speaker balance and quality.

I've had the luxury of trading in my work phone (S22 to iPhone), and while I can see why some people might prefer one of those, the user experience was not for me. Seriously considering the 7 Pro as my personal daily driver, but need to see the controlled comparison first.

I have just noticed that the 15x zoom raw files can be slightly sharper than the jpgs, if the light conditions are not 100% perfect (but still good light conditions).
The 2x zoom raw files can be sharper, too.

seems to be a fine snapper. problem is that for the size and weight (162.9 x 76.6 x 8.9 mm, 218g, pretty much a ping-pong pallet on the small side...) if i need a super-duper camera i rather stick with my canon g7x. true, no phone attached to it (i can use a not-so-fancy, low-cost, small size one) but surely i get by faaaar better pictures....

Zenfone 9 is way better than pixel 7. They cost the same. Other than for the main sensor, it's inconceivable how one could pick pixel 7 over the zenfone.
I hope Asus also made a Zenfone 9 "pro" with microSD card, a bigger sensor and telephoto while retaining headphone jack. then pixel 7 pro would be wiped the floor with.
But "muh software updates" people are too blind

I have just noticed an issue at 3x zoom. If you don't touch to focus, it can happen that a focused image of the periscope camera is fused with an unfocused image from the main camera..
And I have the impression that the camera then applies even more noise reduction to the unfocused areas, so these areas can be even blurrier than in the raw file.

My first impression with the 7 Pro is that it feels like having 6 cameras!

15x (I prefer 15x over 10x in good light conditions, it seems to combine more frames than 10x, so objects can look slightly better)
3x seems to work much better than I thought.
