Man still Honor magic is the best followed by Huawei which is obvious and well known fact.
When comes to camera Huawei brand and sub brand were always kings past 5-10 years no matter how much others were trying.

It is visible that Samsung has less details, but it is pure pixel peeping. I,m glad that Samsung with 23U finally stopped oversharpening. I hope it keeps this way. 70mm lens is the weakest point.
Vivo looks best of them all.

I prefer Samsung and Xiaomi, VIvo overexposes the image a bit sometimes and make photos more oversharpened. I think VIvo X90 Pro+ is overrated.

If the Vivo X90 Pro can beat the ultra flagships here .imagine what theX90 Pro+ could be capable of??? Vivo should release it outside china...I'm gonna get one soon..upgrading from my X60,most loved phone ever used

comparisons are mostly nerds, majority of people will be happy with any of them and may even like punchy colors and over saturated and over sharpened photos.
Its us nerds, that want the in depth comparison to see which takes the most realistic and true to life photos.
Dont praise punchy and over sharpened photos, dear GSMArena.
And remember, there are many guys like me that make decisions based on GSMArena reviews, please stay real.

I think the best night time shot is the realest one. I dont want "brighter" photos that is nothing like what my eyes see.
I think the default option in any phone should be the realistic photo. The closest thing a pair of healty eyes can see. If you want more vibrant or punchy color, then choose the option. If you want over sharpened photo, choose that. Brighter is NOT better.

Instead of using two xiaomi phones, you could have included another phone like the moto edge 30 ultra, for example. Or sony´s latest flagship and an iphone ,just for comparison.

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2023why is apple not in this contest? to not lose its reputation?Probably due to this: "testing the best Android phones for photography", they only included Androids in this one. If the title was "best phones for photography", then they would have to include Apple as well as it's a broader test in that case.

Quality wise, Samsung was really left in dust.

samsung will probably milk small sensors till 1 inch for at least 3-4 more generations and people will still buy it

hence why the x90 pro PLUS version is the best camera smartphone of 2023 and fills the zoom where the non plus version lacks, it also has better fingerprint , face unlock and charging speed than s23 ultra

I'm not sure about Xperia or Huawei, but if you think they are relevant enough then I guess it would make sense to include them as well.
