So explain to us what happened to Nokia and Blackberry? Huge budget, huge marketing and sold in every country.

Did a Samsung or Apple employee hurt your family for you to be hating a brand so much?

"It's because Samsung and Apple are sold everywhere with huge budget and marketing" is such a low IQ comment.

If you want to edit in Lightroom, vivo has raw & superraw(pro raw version of vivo), samsung has raw n expertraw(pro raw version of samsung), both xiaomi has raw only mode. That are the best mode for editing, not jpeg output.

Jpeg output is for user who doesn't want to edit, lets the phone do the auto editing 🤣.

There was no clear winner, according to the article the S23 Ultra was the most balanced and consistent which is a winner to some people.

You obviously don't know much about photography when software plays just as important if not more than just sensor size.

Should have thrown in Pixel 7 Pro. Often rated as the best camera phone despite worse hardware, but amazing software.

It's hilarious to see that some people ask for Apple to be included here. Apples cameras are not even in the same ballpark. Good for videos, but photos are not as good as the rest, it has some severe technical issues that have been there for many generations, like terrible edge fringing and massive issues with lighting conditions, especially for bright light sources or windows during indoor photos. As much as DXOmark sucks, their comparisons with the 14 Pro Max regularly show these heavy downsides..

Physics always wins when it comes to camera sensors. It was proved a decade ago with Nokia 808 and Lumia 1020

                      1 inch sensors! 200 MP! 200x zoom!
And yet they still kick out photos inferior to what google and apple can do with older sensors. Larger lenses lost. Computational photography is king now.

It would be nice to have a slicer in the phone-findertool of GSMArena to search for the size of the camerasensor, so that (for example) it shows all the phones with a 1" sensor.

Nice comparison. For the next one would like to see the magic 5 pro and the Xiaomi 13 ultra in the mix. The Xiaomi 13 ultra will have a dual aperture with the imx989 so that should be interesting. The choices seem to be f1.7 and f2.6.

The masses are not interested in any of this! Good article, but it seems to me that they took it out of their sleeves due to the fiasco of Samsung's moon mode photos!
