Dont forget that due to the form of the phone and limitations of space the antenna for mobile network and WiFi is really bad (including bluetooth) so as a phone if you don't like In the middle of the city next to a mobile mast or next to a router, get ready to be connected to 3/2g most of the time and lose speeds and connection on WiFi. It's a problem all Sony Xperia phones have at this moment from 1/5/10 and even the pro-i! So failure as a mobile phone.

Ottonis, 25 May 2023No mention of the SDXC card slot and the 3.5mm audio jack?
... moreJust be honest next time and admit you like those features because you "take your phone into the bathroom."
In reality those features are obsolete and just extra costs for the manufacturer.

Tommy , 17 May 2023I was shocked it doesn't has LED notification. I hope ... moreI don't think the 5 V will have it when even the 1 V doesn't. Hope for the Pro-I successor or the Mk VI instead (though I still think it's unlikely for the Mk VI)

Gotta ask though, why did you not test Xperia 10 V's cameras in 1080p 60fps mode?

... moreWell, if you are like me and after testing the first high-refresh monitor/display, there is no going back to just 60. For me, it has gotten to a point in which I simply refuse to buy a product that has a 60 Hz display, be it a phone, PC monitor, TV, and so on. High refresh rate makes a massive difference as far as smoothness goes. High-FPS gaming (100+ FPS) is something I especially won't downgrade back to 60 FPS, as 60 feels horribly slow.
But if you haven't ever tried to use a faster panel, you just don't know what you're missing out on.

No mention of the SDXC card slot and the 3.5mm audio jack?
With that battery rating of 175 h, one could slip in a 512 GB micro SD card, load it with tons of movies, shows and music, and spend a full weekend binge-watching or spend your entire holidays listening to your favorite music without having to recharge the phone not even once, and not even needing to have wifi/cellular connection. For people who travel a lot or who live in rural areas with very poor network coverage, this is a huge benefit.
So, the Xperia X10 V does have its purpose and market.
It does a few things exceptionally well, and if you don't play the latest and greatest games, then it has adequate processing power.
That being said, I do not agree with the statement that a 60Hz display is not acceptable.
I have been using 60Hz screens for my entire life and don't see what's wrong with them.

I really liked the Xperia 1 V phone, but this one is hard to recommend, in my opinion. It is a nice device, I personally like the design of the phone, especially the no punch hole display. What hold its back are the 60Hz display and the chipset they have chosen. The main drawbacks of the Snapdragon 695 are: No Wi-Fi 6 and no 4K recording. And there is quite noticeable difference between 60Hz and let's say 90Hz displays. In my opinion they should have gone with the 90Hz one (I personally can't find any difference between 90Hz and 120Hz). Having more than one phone on the market that has those features for more or less the same price, make's it thought sell (at least for me).

Anonymous, 22 May 2023At cost of a slow chipset and a obsolete 60hz screenI really tried to notice the difference between fast en slower screen. I fo not see it. My daughter also did not see a difference. Slow chipset?? Dunno. Hoe do I notice that?? Appstore opening a fractional of a second or 1 second slower? I can live with that you.
