Sony Xperia phones are great hardware being held back by lackluster software. Everything about this phone's specs are enough for almost everyone but their software implementation is poor, so the phone will start slowing down after a few months.
And I'm somewhat sure that due to it being a traditional Japanese company is the main factor why the implementation and process is poor and slow. Been there a couple times, done that, and hope to not come back.

Fredwinia, 18 May 2023I am looking for a new phone though. Batterylife is getting... moreFor you this Xperia is much better choice comapred to OnePlus 11.
OnePlus is near flagship & it has many significant advatages compared to this Xperia like Bigger, better & smoother display,SD 8G2 SoC is leagues ahed compared to SD695,Faster charging.
But you don't need all these features as you are a light user who need dependable device with long battery life.
While 10 IV looks inferior on hardware side but its much longer battery life,IP68 Waterproof, less buggy software, compact & light weight build with quality Sony hardware that generaly ages well, makes 10 IV a much better choice for you.

Say 50-100 euros, then I would go for the bigger one as it also has more RAM too. Now using a 128GB 8T, it works for me as I utilize cloud storage for bigger files, and stream music from Spotify.

That's your answer. Since you are asking I'm guessing you have cash for the more expensive one, take it. More storage is always better.
