I live in the country of Costa Rica and they sell the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE mobile phones with Exynos 2200 processor and the Xiaomi 13T smartphone without LEICA functions at the same price of $699 USD. I ask myself the same question every time. Which of the two is a better quality/price purchase to take into account. 😲🤔

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2023>USA Not happening, look up how carrier works. >Ind... moreXiaomi has an official online store in Russia. It's not available on their website. As for India, it's not available now. Your point was not about the future. We'll aware of the k60 Ultra as I am in China and have tried it. It's a different phone though as the camera setup is completely different. So basically it's not available in the most populous countries. I haven't checked Africa, but do you know that it's available in Africa and if so in which countries there?

On the other hand, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 supports 4k60fps but Xiaomi limited the camera to 4K30fps. GCAM records 4K60 on Poco F5/Redmi Note 12 Turbo since processor supports it.

Not happening, look up how carrier works.
>India
Not yet, it's planned for Q1 2024 though.
>Russia
How can you be sure? unless you are Russian with access to Xiaomi store there you won't know since Xiaomi Russia online presence is long gone.
>Redmi K60 ultra exist
Do you even know how Xiaomi work? K60 Ultra, a PRC-exclusive is the og phone that 13T is based off. It's priced the same but this is more performance-centric rather than camera-centric though.
>Brasil
Same situation as India for LATAM in general.
>Less than half of the world
Africa and Asia alone already accounts to over 70% of the world, the most expensive official pricing is equivalent to 500 EUR, but availability is few since this is a hot item, so 3rd-party seller inflate the price by about 30-50%.
It's also worth noting that the more expensive the price, the bigger the bundled bonus will be.
For example although Indonesian price is only 400 EUR, the bundled item is only a puny $7 tumbler or shutter while in Spain it's literally bundled with a TV.

Not available officially in India and China, the countries with the largest populations for example. Not available in the US. Don't think it launched in Russia or Brazil either. Plenty of other countries with large populations that they are not available in also

Hulgo, 13 Oct 2023You must be kidding, right? This phone is a waste of sand.... moreSamsung is also still selling lots of phones in Russia. Rarely hear anyone complaining about that. Oh yeah, I forgot Samsung is not from China. In some of the gsmarena commenters' myopic mind, anything from China is automatically bad.

Comparatively, for the price, Xiaomi 13T is far more complete than all the phone around it's price range. Sure the Poco F5 and Pro is powerful but it's camera is weak. Sure the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has higher megapixel camera but the ultrawide is lower megapickle.
The Xiaomi 13T is basically the 13T Pro with slightly slower charging speed and slightly slower processor. The Dimensity 8200 Ultra is about as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The camera is a triple camera array (bye bye 8MP ultrawide and 2MP useless) and it has IP rating. 67W is still plenty fast. Plus newer display, big battery dual speaker. MIUI isn't the greatest but 5 years software is great at that price even if it's not a flagship. The Redmi and Poco barely gets longer than that.
This is probably the first T series phone since the Mi 9T that's actually matches it's siblings spec per spec at lower the price with not many compromises. You should not look down on this one.
