Because 1080p front video is just so close to a flagship.. but being close does not win the race. Especially with a Mediatek SOC

Apparently there are issues regarding condensation on the main camera sensor.

whatthefrick, 12 Oct 2023Wtf? No mention of the USB 2.0 on a flagship?Your standard of flagship is so low.

The fact that this just got a 101h endurance rating is terrible.
Even Samsung a54 and nothing phone 2 got better endurance ratings.

This phone battery endurance test is not that impressive so tell me why I should chose this over s23fe? if you have used exynos phone this year you wil definitely see they have improved a lot. They way people talk bad at exynos you will think you're buying a burning gas. Snapdragon is better but this 13t and 23fe is almost the same price in my country just wait for s23fe price to drop after 6months can even get it for $300 to $350.

I don't like phones more expensive than 5 million IDR ($300) because I love budget phones but this phone caught my attention selling for around $400 here which is the best phone this year for that price. I am a fan of this phone.

This phone was stable in the stress test, no throttle.

is this handset available in Zambia?

it had 2x Tele on Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro (Redmi K20 in some markets) but they dropped it in favor of depth/macro cameras

The price in indonesia is much cheaper.
                          12/256GB only €392.

The display brightness is as expected way lower than the 2600 nits claims.
Still pretty good though, just not way higher than competition.

The battery life is disappointing once again in a xiaomi device. Same overall score as the smaller s23.

The 4years of OS updates is very welcome at this price range, especially from Xiaomi.

The biggest deal breaker though is the performance. Its could be way better.

Its a more expensive Nord 3, which doesnt sound that great.

whatthefrick, 12 Oct 2023Wtf? No mention of the USB 2.0 on a flagship?I know the prices are high in Europe, but the 13T is priced as a midrange in some markets. Like in my country Malaysia for example, the S23 FE is almost twice the price of a 13T.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2023Still waiting for the day where a phone is released with a ... moreNot sure about other phones but this oversharpening quirk is extremely noticeable to me on Samsung flagships, especially on the 200MP shooters.

I also have a mirrorless camera, the Fujifilm XT3, and what's special about this camera is that it doesn't have an antialiasing filter which means pictures also come out rather oversharpened. But, it's oversharpening done right. The sharpness comes from the CMOS sensor itself with zero software processing needed.

The camera on the S23 Ultra tries to replicate that same professional sharpening of DSLR/mirrorless cameras without antialiasing filters, but does it in an artificial way.

These new MediaTek chips are a bit disappointing in terms of battery life, just like the original Qualcomm SD Gen 8 chips. I was really gunning for MediaTek as a more efficient, cooler and cheaper option, but now I'm left wondering.
