I still fail to understand the raison d'etre for this device when the original Redmi Pad, with a 25% more potent Helio G99 chipset, was and is the same or a cheaper price.. and is identical in every meaningful way.
Please can someone explain this to me?

I have bought one and it will not play 2k or 4k drone footage that I have recorded but will play and stream movies perfectly. So that is a huge drawback for me and I do not understand why it cannot play at least 2k video from the DJI drone

I m using this from last month. I think better than other tablets. After 1 test and trial. I bought 3 more. Its way better than other specially in chinese products

Definitely a better value buy in China. Another thing is it supports full google services out of the box whereas the Chinese variant of the Redmi pad SE has no google services support so it's more suitable for import as well.
