GSMArena needs to do some Huawei tablets reviews. Got 11.5 PaperMatte. Great tablet. Not 4:3 or A4, as iPads, but still 3:2, which is better than 16:10. It has just one flaw, just one - lack of USB 3 and Type C alternate modes.

Redmi Pad SE is the only Cheapest Tablet that's worth to buy around 120$ or Rp.2.000.000 . The other competition with the same price are bad in here likes Huawei Pad SE (6000mah battery) and Nokia T20 (unisoc t612). There is no Honor Pad.

And don't talk about Samsung here which is always overpriced in Indonesia than US.

It's a shame they only sell 4/128 variant and should be cheaper too. Alas, it is what it is.

Please check screen recording feature. Screen recording is blurry in Honor Pad X9. I reckon same would be the case here.

Just it's not available in official seller due high demand. Unofficial seller put higher pricing which make it not worth it since the price would be on par with Redmi Pad which having better configurations. For that reason I gave up and ended with iPad 9.

Similar screen, better speakers and has stylus support and comes with a slightly better snapdragon 685. The stylus support is great for that price range. Base variant also comes with 8gb 128gb ram. Also supports GPS which this one doesn't

How is the rating this low? For what it costs it offers everything most people want from a tablet, especially for multimedia consumption. Good high resolution screen and decent speakers.

                              "14.4:9 aspect ratio" ...

                              also known as 16:10

Still too tall for a tablet IMO, ideal is 4:3

I suspect it is slow because of the eMMC storage and poor software optimization. Otherwise a perfect tablet for media consumption.
Also, how many software updates will it get? Are there custom roms for tablets? Will this get a custom rom?

Gsmarena team forgot about OG redmi pad .. not even mention in the review for reader to draw comparisons.

don't complain, this is the cheapest tablet on the market. In Indonesia it is sold for $120. This tablet is made for watching because it has a good screen and speakers.

Chipset is extremely weak basically entry level.

Charging speeds could be improved a lot. 18w is extremely slow for an 8000mah battery.
