Compared to the Magic6 Pro, GSMarena said that the Honor is on par with the regular cameras.

But how does it stack up with the telephoto? Specifically at 10x range? It seemed to me like the Magic6 runs out of steam really fast after 5x.

    Funny how ppl here believe 9000s and 9010 are any different from 9000.
    2024 chips that do not even support wifi 6E and still only has BT5.2 support.
    Ultra suspicious.

Huawei does no... moreSame thing with their Mate 60 Pro released last year, which wasn't released globally like the Pura 70 series now. Huawei really has a ton on their plate, no 5G and Google mobile services for the global release, plus a ton of competitors offering a much better, complete package (Xiaomi 14 Ultra, iPhone 15 pro, Samsung S24 Ultra). Also, like mentioned, these are cheaper than the asking price of Huawei's latest.

It needs a ton of funds to survive. Hence the steep price, too bad. Probably wait 6 months to a year, the price would be much more reasonable, I've noticed that the prices of Huawei phones tend to depreciate really fast, since the ban took effect.

                    This phone is not meant as a global release.
                    So the question is, If It's priced competitively in China or not.
                    BTW, why is there no 5G support? I thought Huawei has the technology.

                          Uninspiring and childish back design that looks like a little cub's face with a sleepy eye and a sticking out tongue. As for the retractable lens I'd hate to think the mechanical parts are displacing solid state

                                    Sorry but the price of this phone is a joke. Huawei does not want to sell this phone outside their own country.

                                      Huawei has slightly increased the focal length and the effective aperture diameter of the periscope camera. The effective lens diameter is now 7.14mm instead of 6.93mm (P60 Pro).

                                        I've tried this phone. Compared it to my FX7U. Too much AI sharpening and artifacts make it inexcusable for a $1500 device. Looks 2020 diehard..
