It's important to me that this can perform well as a phone in the UK as the 7 sadly hasn't.

    I'm more interested how the smaller 9 Pro performs. in bound quality and battery endurance.
    Everyone is reviewing the XL model and found just couple of youtubers that talk bit more about the smaller one than just a side note that it exists.

It's just that google apks are blocked and the pixel uses all native google apks. Google apks are blocked for all Chinese companies also though but the Chinese companies have their own solutions. Pixel phones aren't even sold in China though so I don't really think it's a con they would logically need to mention.

          Day 1 of asking GSMA to include reviews/analysis of signal strength, connectivity (of various 4G and 5G bands including CA), DL/UL speeds etc. Specs are just specs, real world usage matters more.
          most written reviews are focusing on screens, camera etc but miss out on the core reasons of using a smartphone, which is communications.
          I'm sure that many people would appreciate it

              Why GSM never listed the biggest CON of any pixel phone is that you cannot use it in China? its basically a brick if you bring this phone to China!

                a major design flaw is the 4x Cortex-A520 is more or less useless for modern apps

                          As a Pixel user for many years, I won't buy new Pixels anymore. Such a average chipset for such a price. And cinematic mode, action mode, slow-mo capped at 1080p, no improvements in portrait mode. So behind the competition, but price like them. 🤦

It's missing LTE band 20 which is an important band in many countries and especially in rural areas within those countries e.g. The UK, Spain, Germany, Russia. As I stated this is region dependent so whilst it may not be relevant for 'you' there are readers from many different countries on this website

Literally no one cares about "gaming phones" and OEMs stopped making them a long time ago. However #TeamPixel is becoming popular at an incredible rate. The same cannot be said for ZTE.

The X100 Pro is global and has some features which I'd like so it makes up for the higher cost in a way. Besides, the main reason I think the X100 Pro is superior is cus of the battery, it's better and charges faster. Even if you save up and get the chinese one, the X100 Pro is still a better value yk? If the X100 Ultra had variable aperture, only then would it have been a better product. The X100 Pro is too good. Rumors say the X200 Pro might have a nerfed 1/1.28" sensor, that'd be sad.

                                    Oh btw I checked the bands in Trading Shenzhen and the phone easily supports all the bands of my country. So the band argument doesn't work in favor of the X100 Ultra either. Back in the day Mediatek was super bad and now they're at the very least on par and sometimes they also beat Qualcomm. So it's an even better W for the X100 Pro in a way.

                                    Oh and the X100 Pro global version costed like the same as an S24+ near where I live, even more Ws for it

If buying the global x100 pro it's going to be more expensive than the x100 ultra as that only has a Chinese model. However, if you buy the Chinese x100 pro or x100s pro they are certainly cheaper than the x100 ultra but they are missing a lot of bands present on the x100 ultra so it depends on where you live and if these bands are relevant to you. For example the Chinese x100 pro and x100s pro lack some key European bands e.g. band 20. The x100 ultra comes with all key bands for regions like Europe so basically I think it depends on where you live and which version of the x100 pro you are getting
