Here's a comparison how many pixels per angle you get when you use dng files at 10x-30x in the default 12 megapixel mode in good light conditions:

Unfortunately, that one parameter is quite the important one — SoC.

      I'm in the same boat as you and it frustrates me to know that there's not a single 6.1-6.4" flat screen phone on the market that has a decent SoC in it (7+gen3 would be perfect). Once the 50 Neo launches, I'd be looking for reviews to decide between it and the Xiaomi 14 Civi (with a slightly bigger screen).

        Pixels will never have good battery life due to Google's constant data collection in the background. Even if they switch to tsmc, you'll still get overheating and poor standby.

            I can absolutely believe that this really is slower than the 8 Pro. And it would certainly be destroyed by the S24 Ultra, which happens to have most if not all of the same machine learning tricks that are the notional Pixel USP at this point. The only thing this has over that is stock Android, and you'd really have to hate One UI to still want this over an S24 Ultra.

If a Chinese reviewer was reviewing a pixel they would definitely point this out but they wouldn't point out Huawei not having gms as a weakness because this doesn't matter in China and is not a weakness in China. This website is not targeting a Chinese audience. The Chinese reviewers produce far more detailed comprehensive reviews in Chinese than are available here so the Chinese audience on this website would be small outside the Chinese expat community. Bit of a dumb point you are trying to make really

                          If you're in Europe, all Google Pixel 9 series has LTE Band 20.

It's important to me that this can perform well as a phone in the UK as the 7 sadly hasn't.

                                I'm more interested how the smaller 9 Pro performs. in bound quality and battery endurance.
                                Everyone is reviewing the XL model and found just couple of youtubers that talk bit more about the smaller one than just a side note that it exists.

It's just that google apks are blocked and the pixel uses all native google apks. Google apks are blocked for all Chinese companies also though but the Chinese companies have their own solutions. Pixel phones aren't even sold in China though so I don't really think it's a con they would logically need to mention.

                                      Day 1 of asking GSMA to include reviews/analysis of signal strength, connectivity (of various 4G and 5G bands including CA), DL/UL speeds etc. Specs are just specs, real world usage matters more.
                                      most written reviews are focusing on screens, camera etc but miss out on the core reasons of using a smartphone, which is communications.
                                      I'm sure that many people would appreciate it
