Motorola MILESTONE preview: First look

31 December 2009
Motorola must have enjoyed the feel of ropes against their back. There's no other explanation for the MILESTONE. They obviously needed to be pushed against the ropes to remember what made them the world's largest manufacturer. It's been a long road for them, with plenty of milestones. But that last one marks the end of a particularly steep downhill stretch.

The only major thing (besides fm radio) GSM arena messed up is 30fps video recording when it's actually 24-25 fps.

hmm....... personally i think that gsmarena has not made a full review of the Milestone....
lacking info of the video playback and recording, the battery life time, colour management, sound and voice levels of milestone comparing to other handsets, the speed of the cpu comparing with other handsets and the current auto focus of the camera (i currently have one now and i think there is a bug in the camera app, it doesnt focus well, no macro, no face detection, poor camera)

i love the milestone but the review aint that great

FM Radio? GSM Arena needs to check on this before they add it to the features list!

The Milestone is almost the perfect phone. But the lack of a FM radio on the Milestone still make the HTC Tattoo the most complete Androind phone of them all.

to big.. THE DESIGN IS POOR and i dont trust in android yet.. it too younger. poor and simple apps...the interfce its sooooo basic...they need to change their graphic designer....

maybe i change my mind in 3 or 4 years...

This looks totally like a mini-pc, just as Nokia's N900, huge screen with all the buttons in the world behind it, I like it, it's a new trend but I won't be buying one, too big.
