Hey guys, I'm weighing up whether to buy the HTC desire or the X10...Apart from the abismal camera, the desire seems like a better phone, my only problem with the desire is its lack of internal memory (120mb for apps)...To me this seems like somewhat of a deal breaker, as you supposedly can't install that many apps...Help!

You know, I would have definitely bought this phone if it wasn't for a lack of bluetooth rSAP (remote SIM). Apparently this is an Android and Iphone problem. In need it to connect to my car's phone system. I guess I'll have to stick with Nokia until one of these 2 OS supports rSAP. :(

Just hopped down to the store looking forward to picking one up. I was told that the X10 is not fully compatible with a mac computer. Isn't it time that SE realizes that there are a large percentage of mac users out there?? This is a real deal breaker for me. Back to the iphone...

Ok X10, i have been using this for 1 week as the store demo phone. It has the older version of Andriod 1.6, not the newer version which is v2.0. Also the touch while browsing the internet is not the best. The Phone Lacks the spark of what the andriod system is capable off. Overall i'd say a HTC is a better phone for it usuage on the andriod system compared to the SE version. It looks good and seems good, but when u have it to use it, it is quite disappointing for what it is.

no wonder they put their all money and sweat into making this handset but how the hell they can forget nice quality speakers.
on phone's earphones volume is so low.
i done know hardware or software error but they should correct it as fast as possible.
else they will remain bottom most in list as ever and they should improve their image in market but these blunder will drown them.
phone is a phone they must understand, music video songs etc are extra bonuses. they should make perfect phone and feed all extras into it.
i just wish they improve earphones audio loudness so we can easliy talk anywhere .
** PS ** me and my brother both bought 2 phones, both facing only this problem, so cant be the problem with just mu=y phone. it is universally x10's problem.

Yeah I hear you but other phones I have had also had WIFI, GPRS etc (N96 for example)and I left them on and I would still just charge the phones once a day. Not with my X10 tho..

Low battery life is here to stay until some new technology comes along, or if someone invents an adapter to connect to a car battery which you can lug around :)

Im not an Apple Fanboy, i sold my Iphone! I have always loved Sony Phones..I think my all time favourite phone was prabably the W880, probably the best looking phone ever lol. I really wanted my X10 to be amazing because it has great features: timescape, camera, internet browser is faster than Iphone, it looks great and everyone has an Iphone so its something different..but the battery life is so bad. Ive got a 2nd battery coming today from T-Mobile to see if that helps. But, I should not have to be turning off things like wifi and GPRS just so I can can a whole day out of it!
