          It does USB charging.

Nowhere in the phone or the official specs is mentioned the RAM. So we really don't know. :/

the only reason i am thinking of buying this phone (depends on price when it hits the market here) is that it's a phone.i need the phone to look like a phone.wat i see now-a-days is that phone's first description is how many apps u find in the store.i don't care if it's a feature phone or a smart phone if it gives wat i want. i like a good design, nice interface, smooth operation, good multimedia, decent camera n some e-mail options.good browser is ok, but not a deal breaker.i am tired of hearing about apps when i find 99.99% r pure craps. to be fair, the things i would like in a phone won't be there in next 3/4 years. any idea how to use vsphere client in a phone? i would definitely like that. this one looks like a phone.i can live with 60 apps, maybe with even 0.

The Wave retail version has a lot prettier interface than the preview one. http://www.mobile-review.com/review/samsung-wave-s8500-en.shtml . It proves how Sammy has tried to make the Wave best.

They said something about the battery life. They said it lastet 2 full days with normal use. What full days means i dont know, 14 hours or 24 hours? Anyway, it will probably last more because the battery will be better after some recharge cycles. And i know that Samsung Omnia HD lastet 4-5 days with more power demanding screen etc.

This will shurely be my next phone :D

Still annoyed that they didnt say anything about battery life!

Did it run for a day using the phone? a week?

                                Whats up with this review!?
They keep going on about apps apps apps. screw the apps i got a sony psp HACKED can play anything and sony ps3. and pc. i want great quality phone with great battery life with great HD Video recording! :D

The lack of being wide spread, the lack of applications and the lack of vertical integration (eg few apps that don't run on anything) don't make this device a smartphone or bada an OS.

Samsung is only the drop to fill an ocean full of immature android devices and iPhoneOS that hasn't even got multitask yet.

Go HOME SAMSUNG! or ghoose yourself an OS already. buh bye now.

Navigation only for a month!? NEXT! Although I like the good video playback support out of the box.

this is the best phone available in the market now ,it has the most advanced screen ,high build quality, the only perfect multimedia player for playing hd videos with subtitles support, the only phone that capable of capturing hd video in 30fps,but if that is not enough ,there is bada os which is new but came more mature than the others and is capable of running 3D games in iphone quality even with better performance thanks to the 1Ghrz humming bird processor,as we all know till today symbian could not produce high quality games ,android has very few games i think i saw 5 of very good quality but that will change with froyo because more storage and faster performance, meamo resistive screen with no multitouth support and lack of big software companies support, top winmo phones like hd2,omnia2 could not produce iphone quality,i think few months back i saw palm phones running 2 descent games but i am not sure if there were more.
so i think for me i am goning to buy this phone even if it had came with just java support and i will keep the iphone because i need some important app not available on bada yet .(also available on winmo)
