As much as you can say that apple "copied" other designs, which i dont think is true. Well if you belive that, then you must also know that they perfected it and marketed it so that everyone acroos the world will want one, the same effect didnt happen with palm or any company ever since the motorola v60

So even nokia or samsung fans know that this is true. Although, now samsung have released a beast, and this mobile phone is clearly on top

Let's quit all the noise about samsung copying, if they do apple will win the case which I don't think will happen. Yes apple came out with a better way to use touchscreens but that doesn't make them first. I feel they copies palm with the grid and which the grid has been done by samsung before apple even came out. The only thing I can say about apple is that they are the device and software manufacturer which makes it easy to fix, besides they only have one phone which also makes it easy to have less issues. Android should have picked a manufacturer to produce their phone and kept it away from others while the only thing they would have had would be open source.

why are they bullies? you buy what you want if you dont
like it you can always change and get another phone.
I am now using a Android phone which i love.
one of the reason that Apple works is because they have
an eco system that works. And some people dont want to
go hunting high and low for apps and music, yes i agree the
easy route.
We have the Xoom that only has 50 apps to put on it
and was never fully baked when it came to market as well
as being over priced and then we have the Ipad (which i dont care to buy) that has 65,000 apps i believe in the market.
Yes you may think people are silly because they like Apple
and it truth i dont have an interest but one cant deny that
they are organised. Google is geting there

My tegra 2 stock stock can beat those sunspider and browsermark scores.
Where is the nenamark benchmark? Another loss.

I think that Symbian HAS had a bad rep though purely based on it's comparison with more simplified OS's like Android and iOS recently though. (im not saying Android is simple, it's just more of a pick up and go OS)
The Galaxy has shown what it can do, and impressed, but I think the next iphone will put a dent in its sales IF it arrives. iOS is a joy to use, for the casual smartphone owner (and despite the hate by true phone geeks everywhere)
Labelling an iphone owner as a sheep is very narrow minded in my opinion, but as long as phones like this are available and the iphone and Nokias of this world, I think there is something for everyone these days, and that makes this makes for interesting times.

I have to say though (again as impartial as possible)
N9 looks nice, but it's far too little and too late for the party...
As I said in the N9 thread...
The problem is that with over 3m GS2 sales already and rising...
and the iphone 5 around the corner...
The N9 is really going to struggle finding a market / identity...
Especially with Meego at the helm..
AND
That's not discounting the fact that Nokia are no doubt preparing to flood the market (and quite rightly so) with Windows phones...
I just don't think Meego will last and who wants to (as a developer or consumer) want to buy something that will be expensive with little future... remember all the apps you pay for on whatever system are transferable - you'd be wasting a lot of money on meego apps that potentially will be axed in the next year or so...
