Galaxy W vs. Xperia Neo V: Vice Wersa

I sold my Neo V because of its longish screen made it uncomfortable to type both in landscape mode and especially in potrait mode. Also TimescapeUI is unfriendly for its only half a gig RAM.
Want to take Huawei Honor next but it's so damn dificult to find it, so I just buy a Galaxy W today and just done porting Bravia Engine into it. Will explore more of it and then I'll see how it stand to my previous Neo V. :)

Why comparing Galaxy W with Xperia Neo V? Both coming from different league. It's like comparing EPL with LA Liga

Freemate, 16 Feb 2012well we can all test our devices using different benchmark ... moreI understand what you say but the bechmark results that this review these are not good benchmarks and give performance in terms of processor speed only and not in terms of what the processor actually offers.
I prefer quadrant standard and neocore benchmarks

They are very good and not biased at all and give a good idea about phones

i have neo v for 3 months now. My wife have galaxy w and we do not root our phones. Both phones are great but android is kinda unstable we have few restarts and some apps crashing and its a chore to root and restart the phone every now and then. For us andoid is making us work for the phone instead of the phone working for us. again both phones are great but for us the os is not. We just replaced both phones with radar and focus. As for iphone maybe but not now

so, there are 'angels' that have poor viewing. xd :)
i will choose xperia neo v. aside from style and looks, SE Timescape UI is IMO, better and more functional (corner UI).

Different people may have different opinions about their experience on a particular device, that's why we have these benchmarks to tell us how well our devices really can perform. As they say, numbers never lie.

Can't even hit 15fps - and still some people have the guts to say that Neo V is at par with Galaxy W in terms of 3D graphics performance. Now that's just sad...

if neo v is sooo good in many aspects. then why it's not sell well than samsung? the fact is SE designs are atractive for only few people.

In the same price level as Galaxy W, I can get Xperia Neo (8mpx) . Is the camera will be better than Galaxy W?

Please, what you say about the battery life? Autonomy declared by producers is not very reliable. I would like to know also a comparison based on other criteria... GPS reception? goodness of signal reception?
This comparison (very very interesting) deserves another (small) page.

If he had done the qudrant benchmark test and the neocore test then he would have known which one is better in terms of benchmarks
In Quadrant
Neo v - 1450 to 1630
Galaxy w - 1159 to 1240
In Neocore
Neo v - 60.5 fps
Galaxy w - 55.7 fps
(these are all average results of 2 to 3 tests)

the lumia 710 will be able to beat both due to a better os and better optimisation,but absence of much hd games in windows marketplace is a thumbs down.
