just used this. apart from the screen (which wasn't a big surprise since we have seen this ppi in a lot of phones), i got bored of it after 10 minutes

I've bought and been using the new ipad for a few days now and the heat issue is really bothering me now. I live in a tropical country so the heat from the gpu is more pronounced. Did a test with an electronic thermometer after playing for more than an hour...the temperature was a whopping 49.5 degrees Celcius!
To all male owners: Try to avoid placing your new ipads on your lap to avoid sterility problems in the future. lol!

AnonD-1825, 24 Mar 2012It's not true, when you play very agressive graphical games... moreI totally agree with you, when i use my new ipad to play infinity blade 2 while charging, it doesnt charge and doesnt loose battery life either, But when i am using it for browsing it charges slowly. And for the record, i own an htc desire hd and i just love it, i also have an iphone 4s and i cant live without it. Android and ios are both great oss, and i use both, each one of them has its ups and downs

yesterday I just used the new iPad for the first time it was amazing ! I used Xoom , Galaxy 10.1 & the iPad 2 .. lets be realistic there was no tablet as SMOOTH & as responsive like the iPad 2 in the market ! super smooth ! I was disspointed when i used the galaxy 10.1 .. now the New iPad is really amazing ! it got pixels more than enough & more than what you need JUST AWSOME ! use it once & do a little safari browsing then try to comment negatively!

New iPad is expensive. Guys, can you please list the tablets with similar specs and cheaper?
New iPad heats up. It only adds 10-deg more than iPad2 when you do heavy graphics oriented operations.
And, 3-million sold in 4 days. List a single other tablet sold so many in so less time. Don't tell that 3-million americans are fool and many more fools are coming in next weeks when the device will be launched in 25 other countries.
If Apple cannot provide quality, no one else can because no other company thinks from a general non-technical user perspective when design their products.

My iPad 2 sat for two months, I just had no reason to use it? At this point it is essentially three steps away from being a toy. It would not motivate my generation (born 1977) to learn or to read anymore so than traditional methods which are in fact much better. As a 16 year Apple user the iPad is the one products that I still do not understand it's success. I just don't get it? I do think the airplay make the iPad more usable, but I can do this with my iPhone 4s and I really don't think it is at the point where it could be really something amazing. That is still several years away, who knows what the technological landscape will look like. I am hoping other manufacturers aren't resting on their laurels. And something incredible must emerge from Microsoft at some point.

I tried this last night in normal use while i used iPad it charged fine, so no problem there.

The screen is really really nice I have to give it that. It really is a solid upgrade from the older ones, which is nice. I've never owned but, me and my friend are comparing my Transformer Prime to it, and out side of the insane screen they're both pretty much on par with one another. We didn't look at the rear cameras on them because that's just a dumb feature to begin with, but I will say that both are just amazing nice to use. However, living in Florida and it was kind of hot when we did this lil test, the iPad dose get uncomfortably warm which I really didn't like at all.
