it is a pure java phone.so what i'd do with 1gh pross.no flash vid,video only mp4.so leave it

I bought this mobile 1 month back & all the functionalities were satisfactory and good [for I knew what to expect out of this mobile].
But, recently I'm starting to face issues with the inbuilt FM radio app. Once I tuned the channels,saved them and started to switch between channels, the display gives grey screen & starts to flicker. Now, whenever I connect my headset & click on radio app it says "Radio off".
To my surprise I was not the only who was facing issues with the display, when I checked Nokia consumer forums there are lots of complaints of same kind where the end point is display giving grey screen & flickering. Hope Nokia comes out with the solution for this issue with some s/w update.

i'll choose this this phone over the galaxy y anytime. You see,i used to think that android is really cool,great and amazing.it is, but only if you own a super expensive high end phone.as for the the galaxy y,android in it is utterly crap.i've personally used it and trust me,you'll want to destroy it before its time has come.its so laggy,crappy battery and it switches off by itself from time to time.i've also handled my friends asha 311 and i say its better than my galaxy y.i mean who needs thousands of apps if you can't use it since your battery is low 24/7 and your phone switches off by itself when you're playing your favourite racing game.

Please dont listen to the positive comments here. Seeing the comments here I purchased this mobile. Now I am even ready to sell it 1000 Rs. lesser than what I spent. This phone will soon come down to 4500 rs. It does not even support streaming videos. The inbuilt games and EA gift are not even worth playing. No Home screen. Very often wifi does not connect. However, what is the need of Wifi, 3G and 1 GHz processor in this basic model. Avi format not supported.

My nokia asha 311 does not contain map application. though i updated the software from 3.81 to 3.90. still same... could anyone tell me why? is nokia map not available for Bangladesh consumer?
