I've waited for over years for Nokia and MS' promises. WP7 was a big disappointment. And I'm not sold with 8, this is coming from a guy who still use the abandoned WM 6.5 on an Omia Pro B7330B.

My iPhone 5 has a brighter screen than my SGS2, for example, but the screen tech is different. The iPhone seems to manage better, but has a low light setting that kicks in quite quickly. Plus it's smaller.

I mean it's like comparing IPH5 with Nokia N8, same material but again N8 has better quality.

The screen of SG3 is awfully dark. How could such a mistake become a phone of the year is a mystery to me. Note 2 screen is way more accurate and brighter.

The Galaxy Notes II is better, as it has a larger screen size useful for put on a car map navigation. Not to mention watching film in full HD glorious screen. So SIZE does matter !
