I own a galaxy r
with 16 gb sd card
i've all the songs I wanted in my phone and I realize that its not the songs that take the space
it is the pictures that you click over time
my phone is one year old
and the music folder is just 2.5 gb while the images folder is already crossed 4gb
I don't mind carrying an mp3 player (i already have Phillips go gear)
but its the pictures for which i've no alternative

haha you noobs, 09 Dec 2012look at all the noobs claiming they have x gb of music and ... morePeople aren't noob only because they care for decent audio quality.
And mostly no one want to have the hassle to convert their musics for worse quality on their phones.
It's really pathetic when fanboys like you try so hard to defend the most stupid failures of your beloved devices.

Im a bit disappointed after looking at the review.. I thought with the kind of hardware nexus 4 has ( same as LG optimus G) it would stand first in most of the tests. Every phone has pros n cons.. Having said that I still hav to give it up for the nexus 4 especially with the price tag it holds. Its d best phone in its price range. Its a really powerful device.. Ive already ordered it via ebay.. Very eager to get it :)

Anthie, 09 Dec 2012HTC One X+ doesn't stand up to Nexus 4's raw power? Are you... moreOne X+ does have a faster speed but the performance of the S4 pro (which is used in the nexus 4) is better as its 28nm and has a new processor tech as where as tegra is old cpu which is made quad core so the S4 pro is able to produce more power and the adreno 320 is more powerful than the NVIDIA tegra GPU even though the NVIDIA tegra have better optimized games such as dead trigger

look at all the noobs claiming they have x gb of music and stuff...
Switch to m4a format you noobs. that's eaac+ codec and basically have 7-8 times more space.

HTC One X+ doesn't stand up to Nexus 4's raw power? Are you kidding me? It's quad core tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz smashes Nexus 4 in absolutely every benchmark test.

AnonD-50372, 09 Dec 2012Stop moaning about the storage.. why the hick u need more t... moreWe could not care less about your online music, music storage is not a problem even on Xperia U, music files are small. Music is not the reason why ppl want more storage.
"why do u need to play more than 2 heavy games at once on ur smartphone.. play finish from it then delete it.. or stick with 1 or 2 u dnt have to try all market games.. cuz u will be wasting your time.."
You really think you are so much better than others, but reading this leaves no doubt that you are the opposite.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2012Thank god they didn't stop making feature phones for people... moreFor grandmas? My mother will be 70 next year and shes using a Galaxy S2. My mother in law is 60 and use an Xperia android smartphone and a HTC Desire Z before that, and shes a dedicated user of Android tablet.
Feature phones are for weird backwards progress-hating people like James, not for grandparents.
Anyway i just wanted to say that i read the nexu 4 review, just to stay updated on current smartphon offerings, but i wish i hadnt, what a waste of a phone, so mediocre and boring and restricted. Thankfully it has bad video recording, because theres nowhere to store it. The clowns here saying that we should use cloud need a wakeupcall, you cant just go and upload 4-5GB over a HSPA connection to make space for another 4-5GB of video when you are in the middle of a party, thats NOT PRACTICAL, its not even possible. I dont understand their ignorance to other peoples PRACTICAL needs. I dont have many minutes of FHD video on my Note II but it already fills up the bigger part of the internal storage.

I make mobile pho... moreThank god they didn't stop making feature phones for people like you. Or gramdmas.
The smartphone is all about convergence. I got a great browser, mail client , organizer, good camera and music player packed into a lightweight phone. If I were to carry a simple Nokia I'd have to carry kilos of other gadgets. Who are you to judge the needs of other people anyway? I mean you did come up with the 90% figure event though sales figures show otherwise.

AnonD-87432, 09 Dec 2012https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homeysoft... moreNo USB otg on this device. Google "Nexus 4 OTG" for proof.
By the way, that app won't even install on the device from market as it needs the USB api which is disabled on the N4. Do some research before posting.

good phone, but not for me.
I spend my time mostly at sea (cruise ship), in which phone signal and internet are barely available.
phone with removable battery and expandable storage is more suited to my living, than phone that heavily dependent on internet.

really...yes it doesn't have a SD slot and? Did the last Nexus phones have it let me answer that...NO IT DID NOT!!! Its a phone that is based on getting the pure google experience not hardware specs, which so many people are crying foul about. I have Xperia ion and i love it but. I'm not going to bash a good phone like the Nexus 4. If you don't like the phone then you don't have to buy it, there are plenty of phones for everybody :D

I'd like to buy one. it's constantly sold out. If google would like to convert people they should at least provide phones to be bought...

All that horse power and no where to go.
I make mobile phone calls, sms's and take the occasional photo.
Why do want to provide Google with free information about my person.
A simple Nokia is good enough, really, for 90% of mobile phone users, if you exclude gaming.
Facebook, hey get a life man.
