why has samsung sold that many units? cos they're masters of marketing, stuffing a list of features i bet majority of S4 users wont even use after 1 month of having the phone

We had a camera test in school, my classmate has the HTC One, and my GS4. And oh, even in light place or dark, or dim place, both phones flash are on and off( depends on activity) and no suprise, the 13MP camera of S4 shots are way way better than, even in video shots, S4 Wins with like HD captured vids. When it comes to display, of course Super Amoled of S4 is really awesome than HTC One. Even my class mate agreed. Well even my Mom who has the HTC one prefers S4 Overall. S4 The best!

HTC ONE Fanboys are just Jealous. They are just pretending that those or some Advanced awesome features of S4 are gimmicks. Haha Come on, if those features were put in your boring HTC One, I'm sure you fanboys will praise it from morning to evening. And don't take it generally but these innovative features of S4 are really useful like the Air gesture, smart screen and its 13 MP Camera. HTC ONe fanboys / Samsung Insecure haters are just deeply jealous. Thats it. and numbers don't lie, Samsung has shipped millions and millions of S4. Why would millions of people buy S4 if it useless or htc one is better? come on just look at the sales of HTC One, even if it cost cheap its just doesn't sell good.

Jeez. My mom has this HTC ONE for almost 2 months and i Got my GS4 for almost 1 month now. And all i can say is that Samsung GS4 Rocks, lots of advanced features, great CAMERA, HD Display is just amazing. And it also very popular than HTC One or that Sony Xperia Z. Now, if you would buy a flagship phone, would you settle your money for a phone that has few things that you can do on it just like iPhone or HTC ONE? Yeah, Htc one may have the great built but after that, all of its specs are boring or somehow fails.

2. Most people like the saturation of Amoled. Mainly online haters hate it. Now S4 also has Movie Mode in display settings. It hits accurate colors. 100% green accuracy and about 95-97% on the rest. Very close to IPS. Since it's Amoled it sill has deep blacks and high contrast. Equating to an overall way more realistic display. One of the most in not the most of all displays. Meaning S4 can more saturated or more realistic.
It's also less reflective and better in sunlight
3. 20ppi on 1080p screens of such small size is not perceivable by human eye. Bigger Amoled screen is whats noticeable.
6. No it's handy not eye candy.
10. No that is not the equation. I commend HTC for the first UP mobile cam, but it's pixel count and detail is not quite up to par.
13. They never said that it was 8 running cores. It's called the Octa.
17. They work fine. Some people have a couple issues with just the scrolling.

The S4 also has a much superior audio chip/headphone output/equalizer. One of the worst things about One is beats.

13. Wrong. The Octa-Core variant is made of two quad cores. One at 1.6GHz one at 1.2GHz and only one group can run at one time. The Quad-core variant is the only one running at 1.9GHz

Hey Guys dont misjudge htc....
they have brought in ultrapixels and there are some fools who think that megapixels and ultrapixels are the same...since htc uses lcd screens they are thicker,heavier and also lacks a sd card slot..the best award for smartphone was won by "HTC One" which shows it all...even if doesnt suits you there is butterfly s to rock it for HTC...

But the S4 does have most of the advantages, and actually is a little better in every day life. I like the S4 display because LCD cannot be true to life. In the same way people say Amoled is unnatural/saturated, LCD's lack of black/contrasts is unnatural. Movie mode in Amoled makes it have 97% color accuracy and still have black/contrast making it the most natural display you have ever seen.
And I would rather have bigger removable battery and card slot with the option of 64GB sd on top of 16-32Gb. Plus we should be seeing 128GB cards soon.
As far as the build I find poly carbonate much more durable and practical. It's lighter, does not ding or dent, it's scratches wont be bad like aluminum, it's better with heat, lighter, more malleable, removable battery and sd slot, and the form is smaller and thinner and easier in one hand. Also Gorilla glass 3 is stronger too.
But that does not mean I mean to tell anyone not to like HTC or anyone else

Wow, folks get seriously miffed over which phone is best. I think it's really a very subjective thing than objective. I mean the s4 is objectively superior on speed tests yet in real world use the opposite is true. The display is a matter of preference. I like both equally for different reasons. I chose the HTC because it has what I, not you I want. I will be taking more low light shots than serious photos so the one won there. I wanted a good portable player and liked the discrete audio section of the one, beats not so much. The speakers is nice but not huge because it still sounds like crap. I also like the 32gb memory. I prefer the alloy build over the option of expandable memory and battery. These phones are both very good and represent the best in technology. Both push the limits in build and features but ultimately it's not which is best because it's really what's best for you.
