I just got a D600 with no provider service.
When I put my SIM card, the screen still display "Insert SIM". Does anyone know how to go through this problem ?

I am not sure for one thing - Whether the phone has USB 2.0 support. The difference between USB 1.1 and 2.0 is very big. USB 1.1 is much much slower than USB 2.0. If the phone supports only USB 1.1, it will be deadly to wait to copy all information you have to your 512MB flash.... I have to check this thing, because I myself will by 512MB trans flash.

To H.L. About sending and storing sent messages. When you send a text, the phone will ask you whether to send the message only or save it and send. If you choose save and sent, then it goes to sent folder.
To John. Your phone is not really recharging. This happens beacuse the USB also has power supply (5 volts), but actually it cannot recharge your phone. This is normal. When you install the software you need - PC Studio 3.0, and modem driver for USB, you are ready to upload/download files.
To Justin. Videos are playable at full screen. The camera cannot be compared. It is 2 mp camera and the E398 camera is VGA - 640x480. The difference is like the distance between moon and earth. :)
To khizer and all of you who are concerned about flash cards. Your phone can act like a flash card reader. When you put USB in "Mass storage" it will become flash reader (Settings->Phone settings->USB->Settings->Mass storage). Just plug USB cable into the phone and PC. Then it will be available in My computer as Removable device (Windows users.If there are linux users it is a little more difficult).

hi i was thinking is it only possible to get the d600 in black.
iv never used samsung before i always used sony or nokia and im used to the middle button being menu but on the d600 if u are on the unlock the keypad then press the middle button it turns on the net can u change dat?

Hello friends i just purchase d600 and its awesome.however i have two queries...
A,During a call how it is possible to see the current time...i mean not the duration of call the clock time ????is it possible to see..
B..I just inserted the memory card of 128mb but i dont have card reader/writer...Is it necessry to buy a card reader/writer or the usb cable is enoug to transfer data to the memorycard.However i tried it but it is not succeed..please help me regarding these issues....take carezz

its a great phone, so its got no auto focus etc, sadows who buy a phone cos of its camera, hey pal , buy a canon 1ds mk2 if you want a camera, so stop winging.

i have a question...i both this phone a couple of weeks ago..with the time i noticed, that when i play mp4 videos, it plays a lil bit, and then the screen freez while the music is going on...is this normal??. im confused...lol...tj

I just bought a Samsung D600 and it's really awesome. But I have one question: when I conect the USB cable to the phone, it's starting to recharge and I don't want this I just want to put some MP3's into the phone.
So is there any way that I can connect my D600 with it's USB cable without recharging it? Thanks!

Some reason I can't download music into my phone ANYMORE!!!! since I open the music file on my pc, but it doesn't say downloaded music like "downloaded videos and images" My Music folder doesn't say "downloaded music"!!! and I was wondering WHAT CAN I DO!!! HELP PLEASE!!!! I need my music it keeps me sane

I got the D600 from my insurance company. I had the W800i until an accident with a glass of warter!! (they dont float hee hee)
I think this phone is poo! The camera is crap, (No auto focus)Cant take pics in the dark. You call that a flash mr Samsung
It doesnt come with a memory card unlike the w8001 (512mb) So unless you wanna pay for a transflash card the memory gets full fast
Slide design is good. But i keep rejecting calls as i try to find in my pocket. This never happened with my w800!
Vidio clips play in a small box with no option to play in full screen!
What els .... Erm ....
i think thats it for now! Anyone wanna swap D600 for w800i ???
