I just bought a Samsung D600 and it's really awesome. But I have one question: when I conect the USB cable to the phone, it's starting to recharge and I don't want this I just want to put some MP3's into the phone.
So is there any way that I can connect my D600 with it's USB cable without recharging? Thanks!

      I recently got a Samsung D600 after a alot of consideration and am really happy with the results. However, one feature prevents from getting the full satisfaction! The speakers. When I have it on full volume, the music becomes distorted and not clear, does anyone else have this problem? Is this suppose to happen?? How are the speakers compared to Nokia N70?

        @angus

        U should use the Samsung Studio 3 to manage and transfer all the files from ur PC to ur phone and from ur phone to ur PC. It's downloadable at samsung's website, and u also need to install the driver for the fone.

          @HP
          D600E is a little bit more expensive than D600 because of the edge, and D600E is Tri-band while D600 is Quad-band. If u doesn't use the phone in Asia or Aferica, than there's no diffreence between triband and quadband.

          About the camera, if there is sufficient light, the picture taken at 1152x864 is awesome. But because it doesnt have auto-focus feature and macro mode, the picture taken at middle distance is awesome. U can take a look at the camera review of D600 on this website, it clearly stated the pros and cons

              Try to look around when you don't come around! Then Post! Because better to look for yourself and get some information or new things, it's useless to post the same thing.
              When you don't come around POST IT!

                Actualy it's your own fault by buying a phone, and later you are very disappointed because you don't like the feature's or design or anything else.
                Always do research before you are gonna buy one. And take a look which feature's you actualy need and etc. Don't be too fast to buy one! ''It's not the end of the world'' You will have more plesure with a good choise!

                    I have to say I'm disappointed in this phone. Either I'm very unlucky or the battery in this phone sucks. The second time I charged it the battery died after a two minute phone call. I returned it and got a new phone. I used it for about a month when it started doing the same thing. The battery goes out after receiving an SMS, using the alarm or anything after just being fully charged. This is not because I abuse the battery. I always fully charge the phone and let it empty before charging. I never partially charge. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this phone or am I really unlucky?

                      My advice 2 all of u is that this fone isn't worth it. It doesn't have infared, autofocus and the design isn't that good. The d500 looked better than this one. When the d500 was closed it protected the camera from dust and dirt but this fone's camera is situated just on top of the battery. Rather get a sony ericsson k750i or W800i. They have all the features that the d600 doesn't.

                        Well, i just upgraded to a D600 from a Sony T630, the difference is phenomenal! The D600's screen is absolutely amazing and the features rock. A MAJOR step up from the basic functions, and lag of my T630, but it did serve me well for a few years, and hopefully the D600 will too, it feels like it will - built like a brick... (that's a good thing)

                          Thanks a lot H.L.
                          One more question though..
                          Would D600E be more expensive than D600 since it has an extra feature?

                          And everyone please!
                          would you give me your opinions about the camera. Thanks!

                            @coala88

                            U cant set personal ringtones as ringtone for sms; u can only use those default ones.

                            About transferring java games to D600, it's a hard and complicated process, and samsung's java program doesnt work well... Suggest u go back 2-3 pages u will find the way of transferring java games to the phone and the link for downloading the software u need.

                              People...got a question here.... every time after you have sent a sms, does the message show up in the folder of Sent Messages? Mine is alway empty no matter how many i send....

                              @HP if u use mobile phones to go to Internet a lot, u'd better buy the D600E. I m using the regular D600 and my service is also T-mobile. After two simple commands *2767*1927# and *2767*1667#, ur phone will be able to send MMS and go to the internet. Mine works, but there are a few cases that these commands dont work.

                                  Hello everyone

                                  I am going to buy D600 tomorrow and I have some questions about it.

                                  I live in U.S. and I use tmobile.
                                  Since I am buying an unlocked phone, I have to change the configuration to make internet and mms work. If I do chnage the config, does it work perfectly? like no problem at all to receive services from tmobile like their official phones?

                                  There are two different versions, regular and edge version. Do you recommand I get edge, if i am going to use the internet a lot?

                                  Also, many people seemed like they were having problems with the software, like the phone shuts off or restarts by itself.. does it happen a lot?

                                  Lastly, one of the biggest reason I am getting this phone is becuase of its 2 mp camera. Some people were complaining about this phone not having autofocus.
                                  What exactly is it and does it effect the photo quality a lot? Is it hard to take good pictures and such.

                                  Thank you.
