nice phone, however a bit thicker than the previous model and also camera is in an awkward position easily getting fingers in way quite often. Also mp4 video is quite good quality however only 320 or so lines ( vhs quality ) compared to the higher video mode 640X480 offered by some digital cameras.

D600 is $250 with contract in U.S. right now.
You can buy it in Seattle.
Contract both for T-mobile and Cingular available.

is the phone huge? i kinda saw it at the mall that day. is it thick? i'm wondering why isnt D600 a 3G fon. if it is! i'm telling you it's gona be the best fon ever. by the way. nokia 6280 is great!

to get ur fone onto silent press the [ # ] button wen ur on the main screen of ur fone. it shud say 'quiet mode activated'. this means its on silent. to change the settings of ur quiet mode profile go to 'settings' > 'sound settings' > 'quiet mode' then choose whether you want it to vibrate or be completely silent (mute) hth

as i can say, just look some longer in your phone for the settings maybe you can find it or not, can't find it at all? it's not in it.

it is how you look at it, d600 with printer and a bt dongle will cost more ofcourse ''but, do you need it? that's the answer'', but in time the price's will get down, it's always with phone's if u buy one, u will see another week a new model/phone in store.. that will cost more, the price's always will get down in time. buy or not :)

phone cost S$768 with a BT dongle and a photo printer worth S$393 if i buy now. thing is, is it a little overpriced?

hey im thinking of getting this phone but i was wanting it to play mp3s and also video files of episodes of tv shows for example. if i get a memory card for the phone will they work on the phone? do i have to make the size of the picture smaller or something?
also can i use mp3s as a phone ringtone and a text ringtone?

hmm usually the screens go screensaver-mode when battery is full loaded, maybe you have set something that it would hold on the light on the screen.

hey there..just bought this phone and the sreen(display) is on(light) all the time during charging!,and when finish charging the screen is still on(not going in screen saver mod).is it ok or what?.....please reply

Hey guys, I'm in love with this phone, I've always been a Nokia man but I'm seriously thinking about getting the Samsung D600. One thing that does let it down is the fact there's no radio? Do you think Samsung or another manufacturer will manufacture a radio headset that plugs into the phone and works with the phone, i.e. turns the radio off when a call comes in and things like that?

BEST hp IN THE WORLD.. never regret buying it.. there are some cons though.. for examples no vibration and ringtone simulatenously, ringtone volume always from soft to loud.. but i dun give a damn bout it.. so long as the functionsare good enough and that the design is so damn kewl and formal... a great hp for businessman.. and students who want to act kewl and formal

yea! the software needs flashing.
Its just crashed thats all.
If you ring samsung they should send you a jiffy bag to return it to them, well thats the procedure in England.
I presume you did not buy it from Canada as you mention you cant have it serviced.
But im sure you have local service centres you can take it to, they charge arond £15 for software in England.
