ryan:::::: when u play the video, press "1" and this will make the vidz full screen.... i dont think so that u can see or play recorded stuff full screen on your TV, so this is another negative point for this phone... i have had it and already returned it coz i am not happy....

finally!!!! it's that isso value, indoors the videos are very bad, but outdoors they are great, too bad that we can not change the isso value manually for video recording

people people, please i really need an answer for this, how are recorded videos on your phones? are they smooth, cause on mine they are with traces though the picture is "drunk"

Got the phone today and im loving it already. Great design and i love the features.
Need to get used to the data software that came with it tho.
all in all a great phone 9/10!!1

when connected to TV, how would you see the videos and pictures full screen on TV screen (the pic and vids you have saved in your fone)??????
any help? please....
also, cant u use ur fone while MP3 in on at the background.... like in nokia 6230i

Just wondering, I understand that D600 can play video on full screen (by pressing 1). But can it display a photo or any file in the images in full screen? (just like Nokia 6630)..anyone, pls..

I know you are one of the few non-expert who is disappointed to this phone but you are un reasonable on your comment, for this phone is not made to be a music phone and a "CAMERA with a phone". The much highlighted feature for this phone is it's picsel viewer, office document reader and power point presentation which are new and the first and only feature in the mobile world plus the above average multimedia features and amazing TV out of the SAMSUNG D600. I can then play my mobile games on all screen sizes, just like having a game console in my hand. What all of you think?
If you want a SUPER MUSIC PHONE with great camera functions then buy the SAMSUNG i300 that will blow us out of the water. As what I have suggested to all SAMSUNG USERS that explore your phone

*wow* got a new d600 today, i am really pleased with it, think it is a great phone, had a couple of probs loading the software but got there in the end, would definately recommend this phone to anyone thinking of getting it, byeeeeeee

Good way to put it.. jess do it.. its a nice phone but it just doesnt blow you away.. o by the way.. the manual language for imporgsm.com should be in french.. it says in the back.. just download the manual online for the english version.

I bought this phone from Importgsm ($600.00). the manual is in a different language. Lucky it's pretty easy to use. I'm playing with the phone now and so far I think it's an okay phone but I don't think it's worth the price I paid for it. It's not blowing me away or anything but My opinion may change in a few days.

sorry dont knwo wat happen to that second post and why it was a delay.. hm.. i remember that clip... I have no idea. its prob either the settings or the distance that camera is focused at.

Its cause its not a video camera, its a phone. I dont think the FPS(frames per second) on the video cam ISN'T that high, thus you get the ghosting on the videos.

Its cause its not a video camera, its a phone. I dont think the FPS(frames per second) on the video cam is that high, thus you get the ghosting on the videos.

anything on that video recording issue, when i record videos in cif resolution the image is blurry and it leaves trails even when transfered to pc, anyone can respond to this

In my opinion its a great phone for how much I paid for it.. 450 USD.
I know many people who paid for it at 600USD and i know that it won the phone of the year award, cause I posted it on all the forums including this one when I saw it on one of those gadget forums.
Reason why this phone disappointed me:
-There is no reason to have the camera lens out on the outside. When i saw this phone I thought what a wonderful idea, this way you can use the flash like a torch light. I thought, I dont mind the camera outside. But you cant use it as a torch light like the e715 or some other models. Also its at a position where your figures could get in the way, if they didn’t include the torch/flash light feature then keep it inside like the D500. I guess it you can unlock it and make it look like a regular camera. /shrugs
-They delayed the phone, but I'm assuming its to fix all the bugs out of the phone. However, I've been helping several people with the problems they've been having with the phone. Apparently I've been lucky and haven’t received a bad unit. When I say its been delayed, I was really disappointed at the number faulty units that were released. Well you can say they are bound to release faulty units in the beginning, but hey if your one of those who paid full price 600USA and get a faulty unit that would suck. I've been telling these people to return these units.
-For a business phone, they dont have a flight mode. Seriously, if your a business person your prob going on the airplane a lot. Im sure it would be great to have a flight mode so you can be chilling on the plane with the mp3 player. A lot of music phones have this feature.
-No settings to allow the phone to save pictures/videos directly to the memory card.
-No auto focus for the camera to prevent blurring.
Features that lacked that doesn’t affect me:
-No screen saver to show time, missed call, msgs, date, etc.(i wear a watch, im not lazy like most ppl(just press a button to see the time people!))
-No customized MMS Tones only customizable Ringtones (Doesn’t affect me, my phone is silent and always on vibrate)
-MP3 player always playing on the background (I heard many people complain about this one, when do you need to play music on the background while doing something else?, I guess when your looking at pictures? Idk)
Reasons why its a good phone
-Its freaken small, with a big screen. Prob the main reason why they cut some features out.
-Nice form factor, and nice build especially the material on the back of the phone.
-Memory is soo small it will impress about anyone you can find. (however there’s drawbacks, like I can imagine losing one of these things or smashing it. Man its as small as a size of a dime!)
-Sound, in my opinion is loud and clear for both speakers and headphones. But this is dependent on the phones you've used and mp3 players you've used. I’m not expecting much, since people.. its a darn phone, not a boom box.
-Screen is awesome, clear and impressive.
-You can use a small program called mpegables X4 live to convert your videos to the correct format and watch movies, clips, anime, etc on your little phone.
-TV out is very nice, especially for presentations.
-Piscel viewer is very nice, and when opening a PDF its darn fast.
-Quadband, though it didn’t improve my reception at all. =(
Well if this phone was released when its suppose to be release(but im sure most phones aren’t released when its suppose to) I would have to say it would be the most innovative phone to come out of its Time ever. Since its been delayed 2-3 months from its planned released date, It's an OK phone. O yeah i heard that this phone was out like 4 months ago release by some china people. Haha, prob with a billion bugs in it.
Well don’t get me wrong it’s a great phone and I love this phone, but to summarize my points:
1)Its a business phone people, don’t expect avg consumer needs from this phone, only business needs. (The box says "The power of Business", The commercial sells this as a business phone, the main reason why camera and some of the other features are lacking)
2)To contradict point #1 there’s no flight mode for plane travelers
Seriously, I stated this before in my other posts, if you want a mp3 player phone or looking for a phone with pretty good camera features. Go for K750i/W800
If you want a phone with features of K750i with a form factor that covers the keypads, get the SE W900
If you want a good camera phone, go for that Sharp 903, 3.2 mega pixel camera with x2 zoom.
If you want a thin razr D600 go for the upcoming T809 by Samsung.
I just like phone future buyers to know the pros and cons about a phone. If have anything that I miss feel free to express your opinion.
