thinking about either getting a d600 or a w800i today from carphone warehouse, the newcastle store has both in stock, which would you guys recommend, ive had a k750i for the past few months and only reason i havent switched is coz no other phone has a 2mp camera, but now.... i cant decide, the samsung looks better like, but duz anyone no if it still has that dodgy little ridge round the keypad, and also what is EDGE??

I am sure that SAMSUNG D600 will overshadow all SE (including K750 and W800), NOKIA and MOTOROLA phones when it will be avialable worlwide because SAMSUNG D600 is a very simple yet sopisticated phone. It's design and functions is at peace and harmony to the user and it is built for what is meant to be focusing to be "a very reliable phone". Hi,Friends don't know this Question is somewhat Primary,Canu u tell me whether D600 has an HTML browser? Or do we get W@P browser only?
Anyone know what happened to i750? Anyways I think this phone is 1 of the best, cos it has advannced features than the "best GSM phone of the year 2004" the D500 !!!

I decided to e-mail Samusng again, asking for an accurate release date, hoping for some good news. Well I was disappointed, cos I think it will be out in October when i'm on holiday, and won't be able to get it when it comes out after waiting for at least 4 months. Samsung said:

open market at the end of the month (September). However this does not
necessarily mean it will be available for sale. When we release the
phones to the networks, they decide which of their retailers will have
priorty supply. When we release the phone Sim Free, we sell it via
distributors. The distributor then pass them to the retailers. The
distributer decides which retail store has priority supply from them.

i'm now using samsung d500...
i'm feeling quite okay using that model...
hope that d600 will come out on market soon...
i want to know how nice the photo taken by this d600,2.0mega pixel...
hope so...

to sam,
you say that the D600 is already out in austaralia??? that can't be right. my job is selling phones and although we are way behind all the other countries with the phones that get released we should be getting this phone around the same time every1 else does (that's what my samsung rep told me anyway). the thing is that it has not been released overseas let alone been released in oz, so i fail to see how you can say that it is available here. i really can't wait to start selling this phone but i'll be waiting a little while longer like every1 else. this phone will give the K750i, W800, V3, 6230i a big run for their money, so my best advice is to stay calm and wait. as soon as the status on this site changes from coming soon to available then i might start believing that some people have this phone.

Hey guys, there lots of ppl who r selling D600. It cost about 170~250 USD and it is wholesale price. they are in UK and now im gonna order from them. U guys think that's fraud?? I need your opinion.

It sucks, I was suppouse to get this phone sept. *th. Mow they say it will take another 2 weeks minimum.

Does anyone know why the D600 is not listed on the samsung website!?! strange when its meant to be released in the U.K this month!!

I have just rang o2 about upgrading my K700i and they have now said the D600 is due out NEXT MONTH :( I received an e-mail the other week off them saying it was due out the 19th of this month!!!! Not happy :(

what ure saying is realy stupid becaus they didnt decrease the memory they gave u the chance to increase it to 512mb with the transflash card slot

Why increase the camera to 2 mp and mp3 to potential stereo and then decrease the mem to hold all this wonderful new improvement on the d500's creations?? hmmmmmmmm

this phone has not been released yet all specifications and features are preliminary and subjected to change so when the phone will finnaly be out some features will be even better
